YES there would be uproar if we sold him permanently to anybody but especially to a local rival. Just read the boards here to see what people feel about him. Despite his behavioural problems, the vast majority of people still love Adel and want him to stay and get us promoted. Who would you rather watch, a team player like Karl Henry or Adel Taarabt??? I know who I want to watch.

I thought we really missed him on Saturday. If he was playing, we would have won more easily. I fear the decision to loan him out could be the difference between automatic promotion and play offs. I just hope the decision to loan him out doesn't come back to bite us on the arse.

I'd love to know the truth if it. I do wonder how much is misquoted crap. I've had the pleasure if meeting him once. Was happy to indulge my lad, spoke positively and seemed to love rangers. On the pitch whilst he may not always get it right, he wants the ball, shows passion and genuinely cares. Look at how he celebrates his goals! I see a lot of blame with agents and advisors. Clearly he must shoulder some blame but in all walks of life we all have different characteristics.

Loaning him is a big mistake. We have 3 strikers, 2 of which are most probably going to spend periods of the season out injured and Austin could pick up a knock easily. If the strike force is out or reduced, Adel can supply the firepower. We need another striker due to these reasons and the fact that BZ looks like he is on the verge of retirement, but we won't get another striker. Loaning out Adel is a mistake. Come on Harry, use your bonce!!!!

Carlos I agree ... this is looking more and more like Harold's closed mind. Adel has pissed him off and Harold is a stubborn Burro

Where did you get to Saturday ... I got you a snowball in .. had to down it myself

Apologies, I wasn't aware you were getting a round in. Which pub? C + S? I play football on Wednesday evenings. Had a brusingly brutal game and won with a last minute winner. Was chuffed to bits. Then on the way home I stepped on a tiny pebble and pretty much every metatarsal in my left foot simultaneously exploded. Been limping around like Keyser Söze for a few days and headed direct to the ground to save on the old wear and tear.

Too inconsistent for me, so not jumping up and down at the prospect of us signing him, but perhaps he will be better with superior players around him.

He will become your best player by a country mile Rupert mate .. he will however probably suffer from a lack of passion.

IMO he is better than Berbatov Adel's game is more complete ... if he wears a Fulham shirt he will win you all over very quickly if he plays to his strengths. I can see the pair of them linking up well together as they both have unique footballing brains. Adel can go pass an entire team ... Berbatov is very good in close control but he is never going pass a player

I also think Berbatov was a fantastic world class player and Adel will become a world class player

You could be right, I reckon Steve Sidwell would have made Maradona look even better.

Honestly, you lads make me laugh - a risk free loan of one of the most talented players in the country and you go all jelly kneed. Jol knows him well, has tried to sign him in the past, could get the best out of him. But if you don't fancy it we could let you have Karl Henry instead.

Dragging on a bit isn't it? Perhaps he's staying after all......

We can only hope. Has good games in him, but far too inconsistent at Premier League level.

He was consistent enough to dance all around the Fulham players in both games last season, especially at LR.

The problem with Taarabt is his defensive capabilities or lack of them. He has a tendency to try his tricks on the ball, sometimes in his own half, and throw his arms up in the air if it goes pear shaped and he loses possession. That gets punished in the Prem

That's why Colin had Derry and Ale playing just behind him. Hughes and Harry didn't do that so clearly.

7 goals in 57 PL games isn't great for a playmaker either. Still, he is very capable on his day, so lets hope we find the key to that consistency.

Can't see us paying that sort of sum for a loan, Jol has refused to meet Eyong Enoh's asking price of £2m despite the fact he was one of our most consistent players on loan last season. Maybe 500K if you're lucky.
