Our kit supplier adidas has issued the following statement:

adidas wishes to sincerely apologise to the club and all Hull City fans for the delay that has been experienced with the delivery of the new season’s kit.

Unfortunately there has been a delay with the delivery of the 2013/14 Hull City Training Wear range due to a situation which regrettably adidas has been unable to rectify in time for the scheduled launches.

adidas is immensely proud of our partnership with Hull City Football Club and we are working extremely hard to ensure this situation is resolved quickly and efficiently.

We would like to put on record how sorry we are for any inconvenience caused to the fans and the club by the delay in adidas delivering these items.

The revised launch date for the 2013/2014 kits and relevant items from the new 2013/14 Hull City Training Wear range will be communicated to the fans via the club website as soon as possible.

    And Adidas is German?

Surely not with that level of incompetence.

They should try upping their workers hourly rate to 8p. That might help.

Bollocks. There is no way this would've happened with Chelsea so what does that ****ing tell you?

This would have never happened if George was our kit maker.

Apart from the obvious responses below, it tells me we're not Chelsea. Sorry if that's a surprise to you. We play in different colours, which should have been a little clue for ya.

I was about to say a similar thing. I'm still going to.

I call bullshit, they're not "immensely proud" of our partnership at all.

As if they're going to turn round to Nike and say "You may make Manchester United Football Club's kit, but we don't care, we make Hull City Tigers' so up yours!"

Well if they hadn't put the delivery address as Hull City Tigers, they'd have got here on time.

How long is actually left on the Adidas contract? The home shirt has grown on me, but their kit designs are getting worse by the year.

Having looked at the recently posted review of this seasons Championship clubs' shirts:
    http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/all-the-2013-14-championship-team-shirts_22149

I'd be happy to see Errea making our kits. Brighton and Blackpool's kits are a quality above the rest on show. Lotto haven't done a bad job for the drama queens and Wigan's away is half-decent by Mi-Fit... which tells you all you need to know. The big guns, in terms of manufacturing brands, aren't bothered with anyone who aren't challenging for European places in the league.

Usual reason for this is that the container ship that is delivering the produce has been delayed either through breakdown or bad weather. When ever they say that the Christmas gizmos are in short supply that is the reason. One getting delayed can really **** up the Chrissy Presents they carry so much, the big ones can carry upwards of 9000 containers.

Anybody with any photoshop skills? If you're out there, could you do a knock up of Walsall's 2013/14 home kit in our colours? With the white changed to black and the red to amber? Also, I have a feeling their sponsor would look much, much better on our shirt.

Maybe the poor kids in Vietnam or Indonesia who toil 12 hrs a day for a pittance have been slacking?

I think Errea and Lotto (like Diadora) are also ran Italian manufacturers of the 90s.

Alongside Asics, they never made it big or had any good kit.

Still Kappa the governors over there for quality and imagination, but Macron are very decent now.

Adidas and Nike have overstretched themselves and the cachet/lustre is gone.

Under Armour are producing good kit for Sperz and LFC.

Someoone will revive the Bukta brand or Litesome at some stage in the future.

English football heritage names ripe for re-exploitation like the Italians did with Belstaff.

Bukta is already back, but they're not doing a great job with it...
