'Should haig's ban be reinsated?'

After reading a footnote from another member earlier saying that this fine board is being run by whinging wum's. Quite honestly I can't agree more. Yes we all like to have the banter with our rivals but all joking aside this has gone too far now!

This twice banned fool even took the piss out of the Spurs spineless mods and have allowed HIAG to pull their strings after he had another meltdown and ranted about them having no bollocks and were useless as mods. This individual has systematically disrupted thread after thread on our board and is far worse than Matth & Sisu.

I reckon it's time for a rethink on this twice banned wum who has continued to do exactly what he was banned for previously. So come on mods support your members.

Just keep an eye on the often very sarcastic, baiting responses HIAG gets when sometimes posting non controversial articles. That's when it usually gets out of control.

 

It is clear there are some personality 'clashes' with HIAG on this board which are leading to threads being disrupted.

Personally I think it is just as much a fault of people taking HIAG too seriously or not getting over prior rucks with him that is leading to disruption. A ban would stop this admittedly but I don't think it is fair to just plant all blame with HIAG just because he has a poor choice of football team!!

I've seen examples of HIAG making fully valid and sensible comments for the thread to be derailed with Piskie (I've nothing against Piskie myself) and other anti-HIAG posters then having a go at HIAG.

Ultimately I don't think I've ever seen HIAG being offensive or personally attacking another poster which can't be said for some of our own posters. Depends what the Mods think about this but we've kinda been down this road before....

I was against HIAG's reinstatement beforehand, however he's been fine whilst he's been back (arguments with PISKIE aside). I think we should wait until the season is in motion before sacking him off though, and think those who don't like him should ignore him until he does start warranting a telling off!

 

Like Drogs, I agree with this fully and was about to say something similar myself.

Does he piss anyone off other than the same three or four posters who jump on every comment of his? Perhaps the OP and pals should grow up a bit.

 

To be honest, he does piss me off at times, but it seems harsh to ban someone for that.
If everyone that annoyed me was banned, there'd be about a dozen people on the whole of Not606

Myself and the other mods are discussing it at the moment but as Bucks is away until the end of the week and we won't make a decision until he's back and the three of us can agree on something.

We are hopeful that once the season gets under way, things may change and tensions may calm.

HIAG has been warned and is on his last warning but to be fair to him he hasn't breached the conditions we put in place upon his reinstatement. We can't ban him for having an opinion, no matter how crazy or eccentric it may see.

We are trying our best to make the board as good as it can be and although it may seem as though we are being indecisive, we're trying to do what's best for everybody (as impossible as that is).

If, when HIAG posts his (usually hilarious) BS, people like Robby and PISKIE (and others) didn't react with rage, then it wouldn't get to the stage we are at now.

If I might make a suggestion, please?

Ban PESKIE, Robbie and Ozzi, not for ever, say 3 months, and let's just see how well everything works, then.

After that period of time, I suggest that the Chelsea mods then permit all three back onto this board, but with the very strong threat that if they get back up to their former antics and nasty anti-social behaviour, that their bans will be made permanent.

I'm betting that that will cure most, if not all of the evils that frustrate so many posters on this board.

Don't know about you but there was no choice involved over who I supported. The Chelsea chose me!

 

Here's a better one lets say ban you until May 2014 and see how much nicer the place would be!

 

I was given little choice by my Chelsea supporting father. Very glad now but growing up in the 80's and early 90's wasn't quite as fun as mid 90's onwards!!
