Agree with this. Although I dont believe if we got him it would be anywhere near £4.5m, if we could get him for around £2 - £2.5 it would be a good buy, although I can't see them wanting to sell for that.
It is hard to keep all these players that we are linked to straight but these 2 seem like new ones. Alou Diarra and Stephane Mbia http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...lk/news/hull-city-want-diarra-mbia_96690.html
How big is Scott Parker? How tall is Paul McKenna? James Chester is no bigger and he's a centre half!
Morgan Amalfitano seems to have joined olympiakos according to wikipedia, anyone know anything about this?
Does say he has joined Olympiacos but he hasn't. He has played once for France last year and played quite a few games in the champions league. Would be a quality addition.
Looks like Karabah has blown off his move to Luzern and is heading over here on Wednesday for a week long trial. Do u-20 caps work towards getting a work permit?
They don't alone, but there is an 'exceptional talent' rule that allows you to sign a young player who doesn't meet the international cap requirement and they help towards that.
That could come in handy then. Judging by the videos of him he looks like a great raw talent. To secure him would be great, but at 19 he wouldn't be able to play in the youth team and it'd be unfair to stick him in the reserves. Is this the first time we've poached a promising youngster from somebody else's youth system? (I'd count Brady, but I'm not sure he'd ever break into Man U's first team and Chester, Dudgeon and Simpson were all at least 21 when we signed them)
Ah fair enough I suppose, but he wasn't looking like breaking into the first team was he? When was the last time we signed a really promising youngster who would, had they stayed, made it into their club's first team? Boaz Myhill?
Kim Källström is not getting any playtime in Spartak Moscow atm. Always rated him. Wouldn't be too expensive I reckon/loan deal. Just sayin
He's a great player, maybe he's on Brucey's list? That young Swedish lad Sunderland signed seems to be impressing. If we're looking at wingers, I thought Jiloan Hamad looked really good for Malmo (even though they got battered). At 22 he looks like he's got a decent future ahead of him.
Yeah, kind of surprising with Daniel Moberg Karlssson (DMK) in Sunderland. He's been alright in the Swedish league and then suddenly joins Sunderland. But it seems like he's done a good job so far. Hamad is a decent player, but I would probably prefer Miiko Albornoz in Malmö (although his recent sentence off the pitch is a big NO GO) Proper good player though!
Yeah Jesus. But at least his club stuck by him, that's good to see. Must have been awkward to go back to training after the sentence was carried out.
