This Championship season looks like it will be much more competitive than 2012/13 was. Any one of about 14 teams could be in the top 6 come May imo. Too hard to choose.
They was playing catch up in the first half of the season but as soon as they got knocked out they picked up. I think europe did have an effect though as I think they would have at least threatened the top 2
Wigan ... Grant Holt will score loads at this level and they have strength all round as well as a very creative midfield ...
Surprised they've managed to hold on to Maloney et al... Wonder if they'll still be there at the end of the window?
Lol, in a few years once we're back in the Championship, you'll still be there. We'll make sure to say hello.
QPR's squad, even without the players who supposedly want out, is bloody incredible. Hoilett, Johnson, Zamora, Taarabt and Austin are all excellent at this level, and that's just their strike force!
Mountain_Fox, I totally agree with this post. I too have low expectations about this season for us. Watching the Football League Show last night, I realised how strong QPR, Wigan and Reading are. QPR have the likes of Johnson, Hoilett and, love him or hate him, Joey Barton who is a very good footballer, unfortunately for QPR (and whoever he tackles) he has a moment of madness in every game. Wigan and Reading have managed to hold on to most of their Premiership players, whether they'll still be there at the end of August will depend on how the teams are doing, if they're winning matches then they'll stay. As for us, I think we'll be in the mix for the play-offs, but without the hype of last season. Ah well, we'll all settle down to another roller coaster of a ride this season, just like we City fans have done for, well as long as I can remember and I've been supporting Leicester for nigh on 40 years.
At least you're honest. Congratulations on your victory yesterday, great goal by Vardy, not sure if he meant to put it where he did but if he did it was a super finish.
