Its a funny old game, redexile thinks Baldock was m-o-t-m, A Drememberd though Baldock was poor, a few thought Fontaine played ok, the majority thinks Fonts should be dropped, like i said its a funny old game, how fans see players differently, and only one moan about Killkenny, he must be improving. :)

Kilkenny did alright really- He was a lot more active and looked like he wanted to play- Couldn't say that he looked like he always wanted to take responsibility and still needs to pass the ball forward more.

What was encouraging was 2 long raking passes from Pack, to feet- Great to see this. Much improvement upon Elliotts inability to pass a ball more than 5 yards

I thought that was odd myself so phoned my friends who were at the match most said they hadn't noticed Kilkenny as he hadn't been moaning throughout the whole game. One said he didn't get in until 25mins of the game had been played and didn't notice Kilkenny was on the pitch until the second half.

I thought Wynter looked really promising until he was moved out onto the right.
Kilkenny frustrates the hell out of me. Everything went sideways or backwards in my mind but
I expect he did play a few forward passes - I am probably biased and my memory blocks those out!
Overall thought he was pointless - Pack played more constructive passes in the time he was in.
I would drop Killa and try him instead. Baldock had a few chances and didn't hit the target which
was disappointing - but he did run around a lot. I thought Flint was great - his passing wasn't as
bad as some led me to expect and certainly better than Fonts. I was struck by the noticeable
increase in the "woosh" factor from last season - and both teams contributed to that.
Overall though some promising signs and certainly grounds for cautious optimism IF SOD can
keep them improving. Was surprised how nervous Fielding seemed to be. Hope it was a one-off
    game for him!

What surprised me was Kilkenny actually but his foot into some tackles the ref had an ok game was consistent not always right but consistent flint was very impressive if he kicks the ball is get out the way if I was you also if your near any of our players and the balls in the air

Killa with better players around him will be able to play his game,it was not his fault he had a bunch of pusseys around him last season.
