    So then Gasheads.....

After yesterdays result at Exeter and seeing how young and unexperienced our bench is, along with the amount of injuries we have, would you:

    A) Field our strongest team available and take the game seriously. Basically try and win and get a cup run. This would obviously increase our turnover. The wage cap limits spending on wages to 55 per cent of our turnover. So if a cup run increases our turnover, we will the get some scope with adding another player or 2 in loans. Bradford got to the final of this cup last season from League 2.

    Or

    B) Field more youngsters and hope they pull off a win but basically write off our chances. This will give younsters much needed experience and game time which they need. This also will wrap up in cotton wool some of the experienced players that we have left who aint injured, so they dont get a knock or bad injury before Saturdays league game meaning gives us a better chance in the league.

    What would YOU do?

Not sure myself would be nice to have a good run in the League Cup for once this game isn't going to bring much revenue unto the club, it seems the League Cup doesn't attract much interest anymore IMO JW will go for a full strength team can't really change much around as we couldn't fill a full bench yesterday so I think it will be the same team as Saturday.

That would be virtually a youth team out  I wonder what sort of team Watford will put out maybe they will change it around a bit meaning there's a good chance of beating em if we stick to our strongest team.:cheesy:

If we feild a youth team then the club and Wardy would be fined similar to Ollie laughing-smiley-015.gif

Also it wont make a jot to the final result who we play Watford will take the spoils. wave.gif they beat Birmingham on the weekend.

I would be happy to lose by the odd goal TBH, a win would be magical, what we dont want to do is suffer a heavy defeat looking over our shoulders to the Scunny game.

    Fingers crossed.

that applies in the league only <ok>

i say play the youths. i can see mcchrystal/parkes and o'toole who getting injured and then we will be royally screwed! youths won their cup and league by playing good football how football is suppose to be played.

I would field our youth team. Keep as much of the first team as possible away from this game. Just one more injury would see us in a massive problem

Agree with Chris. Play most of the youth team and keep the senior players in reserve.

Just don't play our back 5 or JJOT. If we lose any of those, we are doomed <wah>
