I listened to his interview and there was nothing deluded about it.

Its just an opinion at the end of the day from somebody much better informed than you!!!

 

He is delusional. He "expects" Suarez to stay. Hardly "informed". He know nada. And is in denial like the rest of the fanbase and ex players.

 

Oh and there's this gem:

Former Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli - who signed Suarez for the club - told BBC Radio 5 live: "In all the clubs I have been to, I have never seen a clause put in a contract. It looks like a very messy situation."

He's never seen a clause in a contract?!?! ****.

No, it came across as sensible. I still don't get why it's so hard to grasp: if the clause (existence of which is disputed, I know) stipulated that something was triggered when a bid exceeding £40m was made, surely they can't have expected to get teams offering £415m, or even £40.5m? It's like having a minimum fee release clause then being upset when teams meet it, even if it's far below what the player could command.

 

Well he's the former MD - hardly knows nothing about transfers and running the club does he?
