Worst ever player? Fumaca (although Stimson will always be up there).

    Worst ever signing? Marcelino.

Bassedas, Maric, Fumaca, Guivarch, Andreas Andersson.
The winner would have to be Fumaca

Shola. Having that useless bastard here for 12 long years is beyond any realms of embarassment.

As Snockers said, there's a big difference between 'worst player' and 'worst signing'. Worst signing? Has to be someone who was expensive, we got little return from, and had an attitude problem. In recent years Marcelino and Luque work on all 3 levels, as do Viduka and Owen. I'd throw David Batty into the mix because, through no fault of his own, we'd have won the title if only we hadn't accommodated him. Worst player? We've had some seriously limited players: Stimson, Cornwell, Hardwick, Fumaca, Heard, Sweeney...

Between andy o'brien and bramble for me who, between them they held us back from being title challengers under robson. Around this time we got Hughes playing right back to accomodate these two, whom i rated far more in centre and that really ****ed me off.

Lol oh god Billy Whitehurst as well. 28 Apps 7 gls
Tony Cunningham 50 Apps 4 gls. (He was lucky to get those 4 goals couldn't trap a bag of cement).
    Both were strikers apparently.

The only thing Billy was good at striking was other people. Shame really. If he was able to hit the back of the net as well as he punched people he'd have been a goal scoring legend!

    I agree with this.

He wasn't the worst player, just far too lazy.

He played entire games without getting his kit dirty.

He had the ability but wanted to have his 'siesta' during the matches.
