If only you knew what proper banter was, you wouldn't be throwing a hissy fit every time somebody gives you some. And now you are hilariously running a one man campaign to oust your mods, in the vain attempt that you will be installed as one, for the sole reason that you can ban me from the spuds board And you wonder why we laugh at you HAIG ?
Well I'm a member of this site for two main reasons. The first is to debate football matters in the hope that I can learn something from the other posters and sometimes they can learn something from me. I admit being a little naive here as I tend to give other posters the benefit of the doubt - so that if they post incorrect factual information I point out their mistakes, thinking they simply don't know the facts whereas often it seems that they are trying to wind me up. The second is for entertainment from well written put-downs or sharing of other information. HIAG's posts generally seem innocuous to me whereas a lot of people who object to them add nothing of value.
OK lets try something we can't be very biased on: A combined London X1 with no more than two from any club. Any formation you like.
Why no more than two players from each team? That wat we would have to include two from Spurs and they only have one player of any not and he is soon to be a Real player soon.
Only 2 from each club is difficult! Spurs - Lloris, verts, Bale, Lennon, pauliniho, soldado, dembele Chelsea - Cech, Luiz, mata, Cole, hazard, Oscar, lampard Arsenal - merts, vermalin(?), Wiltshire, arteta, carzola(?), Ramsey, Walcott West Ham - Nolan, Carroll Fulham - Berba, To many quality players that would have to miss out altogether!!
Because otherwise it becomes a pointless exercise with bias in favour of your own team. Sandro, Kaboul, Paulinho, Vertonghen, LLoris and Soldado might be worth a look? I'm actually quite interested to see who you pick!
Well I'd Only pick Bale from Spurs, Sandro & Kaboul are second rate in my view and its too early to see how Paulino and Soldado will fare with the premiership pace and physicality. West Ham are a joke and would only put Nolan & Caroll on subs bench Qpr and the other canon fodder? Cech (no equals) Sagna, Cole, Mertsacker, Ivanovich, Carzola, Mata, Hazard, Bale, Oscar & Torres.
Not enough protection for the centre-backs? Surely you need at least one defensive midfielder. Mourinho usually has two.
Too hard with two each Cech Azpi Vertonghen Kaboul/Luiz Cole Sandro Wiltshire Hazard Mata Bale Berbatov
OK - then can we try a Merseyside/Manchester selection with no limits - just to see what sort of players/formation we all prefer 3-4-3 Hart Skrtel Kompany Vidic Rooney Toure (YaYa) Fellaini Baines Suarez Aguero Van Persie Need a peg on my nose for Suarez but he is a great player. Rooney at right wing back is a bit of a stretch but he is good defensively and needs to be there somewhere
That's because I tried to placate you by trying to include inferior players, we could always remove someone and include Mikel.
I'm not sure I could, in all honesty, pick a London XI with an Arsenal player in it, as all the good ones have left.
