From what I've heard on Radio5Live, Suarez ready and willing to make Arsenal switch, the only issue seems to be clause in the contract. Comolli thinks it's there. Problem is Liverpool, backs Arsene. Says Arsenal have bid 40m and not many clubs would do that.

I don't see why he would have any specific information

 

Contracts can take a long time to negotiate, they could have started negotiations when he was still there. Plus he will still have contacts at the club that he is friendly with who could have given him information if he asked. That the reason I said he would probably have some idea, I'm not saying he knows the contract word for word, be is likely to some idea.

 

Sure, but I think with any possible clause then you need to know what it says word for word. LFC have already described their position as "water tight" regarding the clause.

 

Im pretty sure that it is not a release clause, because if it did turn out to be a release clause liverpool would look incompetent. However even you must surely agree that suarez thought there was a release clause and only signed it because he thought there was a release clause. Clearly his advisors ****ed up and never got it checked out properly. Even if suarez ends up staying there will still be bad feeling from suarez towards the liverpool board, and a feeling that he has been tricked, and thats not good for him or liverpool.
