Cheers Bucks. Still hacked off that I couldn't listen to the game on LUTV. But at least that'll get sorted out eventually
Are you abroad? Maybe download a uk proxy server so you can get the ustream feeds in case it happens again
Ustream feeds work ok outside UK, mostly really well. BBC ones don't without the proxy server which I use to watch the FL Show.
What a great day to be a Leeds United fan. A great victory which was hard work, now, i'm not saying where going to get promoted or win the league but I feel completely positive. The positives: 1.) Luke Murphy, our first 1 million pound signing started his career with a goal. A decent signing who is young, comfortable on the ball, likes to dictate the play in the center of the park, with what seems a tendency to push the whole line forward. I'm not saying his game is perfect, but good start lad. 2.) Paddy Kenny, looks fitter in my opinion and is probably on par with the best in the league. 3.) Defense, I wasn't completely ****ting myself every time Brighton attacked, and as we kept the ball on the ground more than last year, Brighton didn't get too many chances. The defense needs improving don't get me wrong, but nevertheless they have improved since last year (based on one game obviously) 4.) Our strike force, I don't understand why people (mainly on JA606, which I don't post on) are so ****ed off with our strikers. McCormack: Fox in the box, will get us 15 goals this season minimum in my opinion, didn't do great last year but it's now come to light he wasn't too happy with Warnock Poleon: Already love this guy, raw but talented, quick and will cause havoc against teams with older "experienced" defenses in last 20 minutes. And if he makes the most of these 20 minutes, we may see him starting every game come the end of the season. Smith: How can this guy fail to be important, he's ****ing massive and appears to hold up the ball well, I don't think he will be our top scorer or anything, but he will be essential through out the year. Varney/Hunt: Varney got a decent head on him, and when he feels confident and happy, he plays well. I don't know much about Hunt other than that he works hard. Against teams like Yeovil *thinly veiled LOL at Millwall comment* you need grit and determination if things aren't going your way, which I believe he has. 5.) We beat Brighton without Byram (best fullback in the league, no question), Austin and Diouf (who I also think has a part to play to help see out games and against teams that are physical, 'cos no one ****s with Dioufy. Sorry for the long post.
Great positive post...can't argue with any of your points. Although I still think we need a decent winger and CB...but great start and now a chance to get a few of the fringe players on against Chesterfield in the cup.
I think we could do with lets say 4 more players. But lets be truthful, that probably won't happen. But I'm very happy that Bazza (my new name for Mcdermott) is in charge, with the team we have. He is not set in his ways, and will play the right tactic to get the most out of the team.
Celebrated, like we did. He knows he is getting on, I think he thrives on competition, and being at a club that's not well liked.
Diouf was at the ground signing autographs for the kids and fans he's a top bloke Fighting in the white hart apparently tonight 30 Brighton fans charged at them (holding hands obviously) and got twatted
did the club give you a password that you changed.Forgot mine once 3 years ago on the membership.Ever since then I have had 2 passwords, home tickets I have to use the one the club gave me,away tickets I use my own password.
Great result, I really couldn't see us winning this one. A massive early test next week with Leicester, wouldn't it be good to have Mills in the team by then scoring a winner with a header from a set piece
I was implying more along the lines of grabbing his genitalia in mock fashion, completely in private of course, as a little payback for how he got sent off v Brighton last game of last season. It's so hard on here sometimes
Jenny Talia? Isn't she the warm up act for Kevin bloody Wilson? No Life, it's just a confusing password that worked using the old website, but not the new one. May have locked myself out. So the sooner they respond to my email the better.
I can sign onto LUTV. Unfortunately the new site is TOTAL ****E and I wish I'd saved my money. The highlights are listed but: 1. it is 3 minutes worth, I can get that off the Football League Show, crap and southern-centric though that is 2. it won't load anyway so I can't even watch that. All I can get is BM's interview, ad infinitum. If you have not shelled out for LUTV, my advice is - don't, its worse than ever
