Perhaps this answers the question? HR from BBC website: "This is the toughest job in football and I've never been at a club where so many people are difficult," added Redknapp. "There are five or six lads here who want to leave and their attitude says that every day.

Have a great holiday Col. Barton was fine and does bring something in the way of energy and buzz - which is great as long as it is positive. He is far from the player he imagines himself to be though. Probably an asset in this league, but I'd still prefer this saga to be over. Hoilett was very good running at people and looks fit rather than fat at last but missed one and brought 2 fine saves from Kirkland from inside the six yard box. Hope his confidence isn't dented. Being ignorant of this league I had no idea what to expect of Austin, but was impressed with his cameo - two good headers on goal, nice hold up play, lively runner. He'll be first pick ahead of Zamora on today's showing, which should make your holiday even sweeter! PS frankly I think Granero could do some real damage in this league, especially if we don't have Adel and he plays further forward.but not even on the bench today. Which will please you even more!
I really enjoyed Hoilett's performance; he looked very threatening. If he is able to reproduce that throughout he season we surely don't need a big, lumbering centre forward, but two more agile strikers. Johnson was very busy, hopefully he can stay fit as he could be our ace this season. our best football was definitely with the ball on the pitch, not in the air. I've not seen Austin play before; his movement was excellent and he placed a good, firm header back across the goal and just over. Simpson attacked with some intent too, but maybe someone could have a word with Ned, he is not a ball carrier. Green's catching was far better than last season, one right at the death really eased the tension. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was too see Ale in the team and playing so well. I assume that Henry, who unfortunately offered exactly what we all expected, was told to pass the ball to him at every opportunity as that seemed to always be his first thought. If he'd checked that Ale wasn't completely surrounded first it would have helped. And yes Barton had a decent game. Great ball that Hoilett blazed over and plenty of effort. Had a rather amusing moment after Barton had played an raking 30 yard cross field pass to no one. Stan and I looked at each other (we were about 20 seats apart) with the same pained expression and slowly shook our heads in unison. I was fortunate enough to share a couple of very pleasant train journeys back with Judo and Sussex, I await Judo's match report impatiently.
An excellent read. My only criticism of Hoilett would be his shooting - absolutely dreaadful. But overalll a very positive performance and hopefully he'll bag a few goals in due course.
Thanks mate. Looking very wet on arrival tomorrow but the long range forecast for the week isn't too bad! Hope you're right with regards to Zamora. TBH, I wouldn't mind seeing Granero further forward if we are to lose Adel, as we will need someone to probe and create. He MAY be good enough....maybe!!
I imagine Granero to be amongst the players who don't want to be with the Club. However, I was surprised to see Barton and Adel starting so who knows?!
Sussex's and Judo's mate made a good comment about Granero. "He must be on his way out and he has dropped behind Derry in the pecking order".
Perhaps. Think maybe that it was Jenas being on the bench said more. After all, I see Derry as cover for Henry.
Cesar, Diakite, Mbia, Granero, Taarabt, Remy. Ties in with what Redknapp say about wanting british players.
Just a tweak for me. Barton is better than Derry even though hes a twat and Suk is better defensively than Traore.
