If you are going to be superspicious (whatever). I thought of drinking Fuller's (nearest brewery to LR), but we went behind, drank Adnams when we scored two, and then drank Fuller's again during the second half. Should I avoid Fuller's beer when watching the Rs?

    Football was poor overall

Barton pass of the match and generally well cheered even by me

We finish our chances then we should win a few matches today.

We sunk a bit too deep on 65 mins or so and should of been a couple more goals up

Wednesday looked quicker at times and stronger

    Faurlin was good

I think it should of been 5-2

I am looking forward to blowing my mind when we really start playing
We are strong no doubt but we need to maintain that strength for the 90

Nice to meet a few more of you at the pub and walked back with nice bloke Wandle Ranger

Sums it up pretty perfectly for me. Great to see a win, I reckon Wednesday will struggle but if they don't and represent the average in this league we should walk it. A goal for Hoilett would have been nice, he made his own chances. Barton actually does have vision, but not the talent to execute consistently - one great pass, a few totally dud ones. Traore looked weak at the back and hesitant coming forward until one great burst in the second half - why can't he do that more often? I fear for Hill, goal down to him I think. BZ needs to bully CBs in this league, nowhere near it today, Austin showed more in 15 minutes.

The one who totally confused me though was Henry. What is he for? Ale made most of the tackles and all of the decent passing, Henry took an age to move it 5 yards sideways or backwards. Derry is a much better player.

Not moaning, delighted to see a win, but more work to be done.

Surely it was traore who should have cleared the ball away?

Henry is bough in as a defensive shield who offers nothing going forward, he gifted them 3 great breaks and could have easily cost us, hes a horrible player who offers nothing. Id prefer any other midfielder to him.

Possibly, I only saw it once live, consensus around me was Hill had for some reason let him go. if I'm wrong apologies to Clint, but he's going to lose his place to Dunne anyway. Ned was good.

As much as I love Clint, the CB2 will be Dunne and Ned. A no-brainer!

Great to get off the mark with 3 points for a change. This isn't our finished side so probably best not to read too much into it!! Barton played well by all accounts so fair play to him, although I can't help thinking that it's only a matter of time till he does something stupid!
Sounds as though Hoilett played well but finished poorly?

All in all I'm well chuffed that I can set off for Cornwall in the morning knowing that we've already got 3 points!!

Was elsewhere this afternoon but followed scores on my phone. Really pissed off when we went behind thinking here we go again but a quick one-two made my day. At this stage of the season with a few more changes of personnel to come three points is all that matters. Well done boys...

We had the industry up-front with Johnson and Hoilett but can't help thinking we lacked a bit of creativity, incisiveness and, at times, that killer extinct in front of goal - Johnson was a lax in this area, IMO, though otherwise he played well. Austin is a must start and hopefully he will soon replace BZ permanently: we looked much more dangerous with a runner in behind.

Think we missed Adel's creativity and willingness to commit defenders, though.

All in all happy with 3 points.

Surely that must be the end of Zamora as first choice.

I hope so. He's useless really. Can't really see why he would remain on the bench, but then again who knows how things work!

imagine that team with Barton in the middle and Hoilett and Taarabt on the wings with Remy and Austin up front.
