Just a mention for something here. They have one-time Saints target Andreu Fontas playing centre-back, on the left-hand side. The Times seemed to think we had serious interest in January, but opted for Forren.
Celta look handy going forwards particularly on the left where Chambers' positioning has been a bit dodgy, but so far we look able to carve them open with ease, just not quite had the final ball as yet.
are you watching the games? Three pre season friendlies, and the vast majority of our opponents attacks were a result of his bad positioning. He's just not ready. Cork would be a better option.
No offence, but Cork's positioning really isn't that great at right back either. You don't sign these lads to long-term deals unless you are confident in their ability. Give them time. Luke made positioning errors initially.

Cork isn't perfect on RB, obviously, but i still think he's better for now. Chambers is very young, he has all the time in the world to work on his flaws in training, it won't be a great loss for his development if he doesn't immediately become a starter. However, it could be a great loss for us if we loss a few starting games because silly errors at the back.
