3pts goes without saying - Hoilett, Johnson, Ale and dare I say it... Barton! Also nice to get a bit of luck

Set pieces, not hitting the first man every time plus those you listed. Wed have scored a hatful if hoilett could finish.

Negatives, Zamora, henry who is woeful and green.

Still its three points which wasn't looking likely after half an hour.

AJ did look sharp and will score more I'm sure, given the service. Austin looks dangerous from crosses.

Hi PH, when are you coming?

    Great afternoon's entertainment today.

We started so brightly and the difference in quality was immediately obvious and but for Hoilett's inability to score we would have been 2 or 3 up long before they got sight of goal. Surprisingly, for a team made up of Goliath's cousins, they scored from open play and from their Behemoth striker's feet and not his head. I was quietly confident that the quality would show and it did eventually with two well taken goals.

So many positives. It was hard to pick out a MOTM but then again not really. Ale Faurlin by a country mile. Great distribution, threw himself at everything and played tirelessly.

Austin is clearly a quality layer and perhaps might have had one from his header towards the end to put the game to bed.

Sorry Bobby, unless matters improve dramatically, you will be starring in Anne Robinson's show, 'The Weakest Link'.

We must not get carried away. Wednesday were knocking about the bottom most of last season and with good reason. Harry's QPR team can only be judged after we have played sterner opposition such as Reading, Wigan, Watford etc.

Lady luck was with us since it appears they should have had a pen and Barton should have had a red. I am sure that will even out over the season!!

Thrilled with the win but, more importantly, we saw a TEAM playing for each other and some lovely footie along the way.

Ale was MOTM IMO. Green did much better than 'ok' but not absolutely great. Poor distribution couple of times but generally safe hands in front of goal. Possibly getting his mojo back.

Thought Ale had a good second half, will only get stronger I think. I'll be over in England Nov. and Dec. RTID and am already targeting our home games against Derby (2nd Nov) and Blackburn (7th Dec) as ones I can make.

Barton was a clear MOM for me, he bossed the game, was everywhere and sent some sublime passes. It was never a pen or red for him, the SW player clearly dived, but the Ref did well to see it especially as Barton had his leg up. But Ale did very well too overall, though I thought he was a bit sloppy and weak when we were 1 -0 down, he picked himself up again 2nd half. Can't see Green did anything wrong today, blameless for the goal, and he did well to cut out a couple of dangerous crosses late on.

You must have watched a different game, he had one shot that he let in. He never made a save.

That's not a problem in isolation but green let's in goals from 1 or 2 shots every other game which puts incredible pressure on the defence.

At least he wasn't dropping crosses today.

Faurlin had a good second half, was mediocre in the first. MOM was Barton who to his credit and his word ran his socks off and kept it simple but effective on the right.

Agree with those who have said he should be back in the middle next to Faurlin and persist with signing Townsend to play on the right.

The back 4 still fills me with dread. Hill simply cannot be a starter anymore, we need Dunne up to speed and possibly sign another CB to compliment Onouha in the long run. Harry Maguire from Sheffield United please.

But also took some great catches from dangerous crosses in the last 10 mins when the pressure was really on.

The only negatives for me were Henry - thought he was supposed to be a tough nut? Got pushed out too many times and distribution was poor, Zamora - legs gone but gave 100%. Can't complain at 3 points but we need to improve defensively as a better team would have beaten us today.

    Barton played a wonder pass

Kirkland kept them in it but we must take every chance

We are a strong side no doubt

From what I saw and read, I think Kirkland deserved MOTM - sounds like he kept them in the game...

So everyone has forgiven Barton & forgotten what a total c@nt he has been!! One game hasn't done it for me, don't want him in hoops!
That would be my only negative.

It`s nice to be in the top flight even though we did not show all the class we could provide when needed. Watching the game in front of my PC never reflects the game properly but I am just very, very happy that we made the 3 points today. We looked like like a very good team at times but then again I was very worried about our performance. I do not care if we had been lucky as it felt very good to win the game, have a nice glas of wine and looking forward to the next game - we need to get up again.
