    He's a young lad with potential, but I don't see him being better than Championship class. Being a 6ft 4 inch winger just doesn't scream premier league to me.

    nah not worth taking i reckon for a guy who MIGHT (big might mind) become something of use to us. We're paying him naff all wages and the squad is thin enough as it is, especially on the wings

    They've begun talking him up as one of our 'like a new signing' players... Doubt they'd want to sell him if it meant they might have to sign a new player!

    Couldn't have a go at Sammy, he seems a nice genuine kid. Got a better work ethic on the pitch than his big brother too. I'm just not convinced he'll amount to anything more the championship at best.

    He's still young and raw. Give him time. Don't understand how some of you guys can be so excited about the likes of Dummett, Streete and co. who have never even seen first-team action than someone who's already been on the first-team fringes and wanted by Championship clubs on loan, and want to sell someone like Sammy who has already broken into the first-team.

    Regardless of how he's performed in first-team games, he has at least proven that he's a class above the rest in the reserves.

    All he has proven is that he is not ready to step up. The others have yet to be tried. Who is the best of that bunch, only time will tell. I think many just feel Sammy doesn't look like he'll ever cut it.

    I don't think he good enough for the PL, not at this point in time anyway.
    He needs to play regularly at first team level, and the odd substitute appearance here isn't going to help him develop.

    I don't see the point of taking £800k, so Loan is the best option for me.
