haha - i just read your edit.

Sisu honestly mate what are you going on about? All i'm arguing is about Arsenal being one of the best destinations if you want to play CL football. I havent had any discussion about spurs or last season....

The recourse of fools, first to claim they have gotten under your skin and then to say "what are you talking about"

I never disputed Arsenal's record, I countered your post about being sure of CL football every year, and it was only really last year, still not sure why you got annoyed<laugh>

Haha, that really got under your skin didn't it? :P

You did put in question marks, but the general tone of your post was trying to put me down like i was stupid for making the comments i did - despite them being facts. I get that that could make you feel a little silly so i shall ignore you telling me to **** off :)

Not sure what is deluded about me posting facts though... That seems a total contradiction of terms to me... What deluded comments am i throwing around? lol

As far as being sure of CL football next season - i am since we are in the competition having already finished 4th last season :P (And dont bring up qualifying before seeing the teams we may have to face LOL).

laugh all you like but couldn't you be facing PSV in the play-offs? Sure you should beat them, but it's not a foregone conclusion

Simple fact is for players of quality, taking part is not enough<ok> RvP? Fab, song? Suarez wants to win, so Arsenal would not be the destination.

Arsenal are as sure to qualify for the CL as you say, as they are sure to not win anything, Suarez wants to win not just take part<ok>

Arsenal have had more regular CL football than any other club in europe - I'd say its been a pretty safe bet that Arsenal will be in the CL. I know nothing is guaranteed and obviously teams will be stronger this season but Arsenal are the ONLY team to have maintained constant CL football and constantly into the latter stages of the competition.

As far as wanting to play in europe Arsenal are one of the best clubs a player could be at. Not going to get into an argument about the merit of playing in the cup vs the chance of winning it etc...

But i agree Suarez comes across as the type who will never be happy and always looking for his next move - careers are short so can't blame him - as long as Arsenal know what they are getting when they buy him i don't have an issue with that.

To be fair Arsenal have done really well. They look like dropping out of the top 4 every year but always seem to manage to scrape into 4th in the last couple of games. I think thats really the sort of thing Luis Suarez is looking for.

To be serious though when either Spurs or Liverpool eventually manage to break back into the top 4 its quite obvious it will be at the expense of Arsenal.

Except that Song was actually sold on Arsenal's terms, and he wanted to stay. <ok>

not if the likes of us sell them our best players

Spurs is actually very realistic and believable. But Liverpool? Might as well drag in the likes of West Brom, Norwich, Swansea, etc.

@welshred

Any time spurs or City have made the CL it has not been at the expense of Arsenal but rather the expense of Liverpool and/or Chelsea. So i don't know why you sound so sure it would be Arsenal you replace.

And i think most players would LOVE to be at a club who plays in the CL each season. Even if he sees it as a stepping stone to end up at Madrid, he woud be putting himself in the competition he thinks he is worthy of playing in.

@Sisu - i'm not going to waste my time with you anymore, you talk so much nonsense and just don't follow any clear line of thought, your posts are jumpy and random and never actually argue the point raised to you, you always counter with something which isn't relevant to whats being said. So let's just leave it there shall we.

@Sir_red - yeah we could get PSV i believe - they are easily the best team we could face, other than that they are all of a much lower quality. And even against PSV i'd expect us to fairly easily progress.

Could you be more obvious, you're resorted to stealing national lottery phrases<laugh>

Just think it is a little cringe worthy to be arguing about the merits of being in the CL (Arsenal) compared to winning it (Liverpool) when we didn't even qualify for the EL <laugh>
