Well prompted, SBM! I have renewed the league and it is now ready to join. Should I post the code here, or people want PMs? Not sure how likely it is for us to have problems, I'm guessing not very likely. This year I'll be keeping everything for the cups on my home computer, so we don't have a repeat of last year's fiasco with me leaving my job and forgetting to copy the information from my laptop first!
If you login and create a team it'll automatically join the active leagues you've joined in the past. Me, you and a load of others are already in the N606 league as I type this, so you'll only need to give the code to people who either weren't in it last year, or who have created a new login.
Yep, I see that now! Good luck to everyone, of course. I plan to prop up the league as per usual. I see it as something of an Atlas situation.

Some people have changed their team names, which is most confusing for me. Do we know who Moves Like Dejagah, FantasyFootieClub & Potters Bar are? I have my suspicions, but it'd be good to know for sure: I can thencheck with anybody missing to make sure any one who wants to play is playing.. Captain, I believe you are defending your title from last year. So good luck to you - I posted my lowest ever score by some distance, so hopefully the only way is up for me!
I think Moves Like Dejagah is Robespierre(sp?) (who I've not seen around here in a long time), FantasyFootieClub is Froggy or GeraScores, and whoever Sparky Bellend is gets a pat opn the back from me for that manager name.
I was very pleased to see that after much agonising when I finally submitted my team the league had reappeared and I reappeared in it - technology eh? Not feeling confident this year....
We play on the free Premier League fantasy football. So register and create a team, then join our private league using the code supplied by myself. Although the more I think about it, the more I think I should just post the code here - I can admin out any undesirables later, if that problem occurs.
Apologies if using a pseudonym has created problems. If you're willing, I really think it would be better for you to DM the code to people who haven't already joined, rather than posting it openly. As you say, that means the pseudos telling you who they are - I'm 'Potters Bar'.
Guilty as charged, Surlyc. I thought it would look big-headed if I mentioned that, so I'm glad that someone else did it for me! I think we should just post the code. The league organiser has the ability to eject anyone who signs up that shouldn't be there, so even if we get uninvited guests, it's up to Surlyc whether they stay or not. As for usernames, once the season starts, we should start a new thread for this with everybody's Not606 username matched up to their manager name in a list in the first post, that way it will be easily accessible for anyone to refer to throughout the season. Last year I started off knowing who most people were but couldn't remember as time went on. Incidentally, I think Niall Ferguson is FulhamIreland, another who hasn't been on these boards for a while. Perhaps when they see they have automatically rejoined the Fantasy Footy it might bring one or two back on here as well. We can but hope.
All very good points Captain. I was being too negative thinking only about last year's unwanted visitors. Posting the code openly and setting up the thread you suggest might even encourage new people, as well as previous ones, to join in. Heck, why not even the Northolts of this world if they want to pit their skills in fantasy footy. I'm going to do a u-turn and agree with what you said.

Okay guys, the code for the league is XXXXXX-XXXXXX. So for anyone who hasn't already, head over to the Premier League website and join in. I will remove the code from this thread once the season starts and start a new thread. I've done the leg work on preparing some mid-season cups as well, to add some interest for those (like me) who drop out of the title picture early. Lastly, I have no problems with pseudonyms when creating an account. If anything, I encourage them. However it makes it much more interesting if we can match up forum names with team names and I will put that list into the new post when that goes up in two weeks, as the Captain suggested.
