Although Biscan could probably put in a decent performance at CB you'd lose his best attributes that suit perfectly his midfield box to box role

I'd say from this costa link Rodgers would rather play coutinho attacking midfielder and sign a goalscoring winger. Got to say I'm happy with that. Only seen Eriksen 2 or 3 times so I dont know but surely if he was that good someone would have signed him already. Certainly wouldn't have him ahead of coutinho
Have to say it is strange that nobody has gone for him. Maybe we don't want him or he doesn't want us.
He was hot prospect a couple of years back, but was young then (and still is) - From what I've heard and seem, he hasn't developed as originally thought he would. Maybe Rodgers doesn't think he'd bring enough to the team. Missing out on that Mika guy was a big blow, he was what we needed - creative, tough in the tackle, great passing range with an engine to match.
and would you seriously have said that before seeing coutinho for US.... i doubt it. eriksen is class and SOMEONE will buy him OR Ajax will have him i nthe CL and he'll be pure class and people will wonder why didn't we? In the end however I would rather we turn up for stoke with forward options and aspas borini and costa would be that let alone suarez. also... if madrid come in for suarez all bets are f'n off.
