It's not the win itself, it's the way people reacted to the win. Honestly, with the media coverage, you'd think General Zod (the proper one, not the ****e MOS one) was walking amongst us mortals.

Exactly. In the states we don't get this ridiculous Hamilton love/hate thing from the media (we just have to put up with other bullshit instead). In fact, I've never understood that the Hamilton lovefest. But I agree that doesn't mean it needs to get taken out on people here.
Very true, it was so nice to have him back earlier this season. Even still I can't really complain, NBC listened and actually brought the majority of the primary group in and I think its really helped make the viewing experience enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully newcomers to F1 are enjoying and learning a lot from these guys.
Amazingly NBC did listen, and though there are a few things I don't like, I mostly love it. I think It's only a matter of time before Varsha is back full time.
A small point to Mark and Kyle, if you don't like Hamilton, why bother to come on to a thread which was all about him? You could have avoided it and posted on other threads where there isn't a conversation about him. Face it, if he wasn't in F1 you'd have nothing to write about! So be glad he is about!
That makes absolutely no sense, i mean how can you even believe that? Besides i've actually been trying to discuss other things if you look, it's you and SgtBhaji who seem to be trying to continue that discussion, the topic was just made to troll people anyway, how were you expecting people to react?
Was it a mistake to go to Mercedes, tbh only time will tell, atm it looks like he made the right choice in leave McLaren for Mercedes as Merc clearly have a better car this season, however who knows what McLaren are doing, have they screwed up, or have they gained a years advantage on everyone else with the 2014 rule changes? I'm not particularly much of a Hamilton fan, but I do know F1 would be poorer without Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel or Raikkonen.

except it's not one win, that's blindingly obvious, it's everything that happened this season with Mercedes, which is obviously going to annoy people, in exactly the same way Ferrari did a few years ago and had a huge group of people complaining about their conduct and the lengths they went to win, now what? people aren't allowed to complain or something?
