Sober now, and it only took a little over an hour. I rock. Right, where was i. Oh, hamilton is an ungrateful little **** who should be thankful for the effort Mercedes have put in, instead of always doubting the car, he should say "thanks team, i'm happy to be paid £34 trillion a year to do a job almost anyone would want to do"
I don't take moaning about the car as being thankful. If i went up to my boss and continuously whinged about stuff "oh, my seat isn't squidgy enough" "my internet is too slow" i would get fired for being an annoying arse.
He didn't moan about it.. He suggested that it wouldn't win and his team thought the same. It won, he thanked them and all in the world is peachy.
ok all i can establish now is that i can't say anything without you desperately trying to twist it; firstly i if you actually read what i said i mention that "Hence why i tend to look at more than just the results a driver gets in quali and race and more about the driver as a whole." where as you've tried to imply i don't look at the results at all, besides i don't get what you're even implying here other than that the quality of the drivers just so happens to be exactly aligned with where they finish each race. There are often standout performances all over the field. I'd like to know what other people think on this, i very much doubt everyone will just agree with you, however ludicrous you think it is. and secondly i never mention Nico "being booted out of the team" only that i felt he would probably leave once he gets tired of constantly playing second fiddle to Hamilton. I even tried to make some reasonable posts and just received the same hyperbolic response and trying to twist my words, again suggesting i'm just wasting my time here.
What Hamilton should have done, is state that he was easily going to win the race and his car was the best so that he could be a cocky b'stard. ;p #nowinning
You didn't reply to our discussion reasonably... If you did, please highlight it for me as I missed it. Thank you.
Feel that way all the time. Just wait until Hamilton does something idiotic, all the hamelots jump to his defence. He could assassinate a magic unicorn, and the people would defend him.
Once again, I'm trying to be reasonable, you are the one who is getting exceedingly defensive. And threatening to leave. I would like to know what you can look at besides results to determine a driver's objective quality - not whether you personally like them or not, their objective talent. Quality of opposition and car can be used to judge someone but only in comparison to the results they have actually achieved. Bottas qualified 3rd in a Williams at Canada, and that was outstanding because the Williams is a rubbish car. Rosberg qualified fourth in a Mercedes, and that was a fairly average result because his team-mate took pole. As for your second point you said "I would not be surprised to see him gone within a year or two" which I took to mean booted out, forced out, whatever, the point is it's a little early to suggest that given he was perfectly prepared to spend three years playing second fiddle to Schumacher and we're not even fully certain of what's going on next year. I believe Rosberg's contracted for a while though.
Kyle... you know we criticise Hamilton when he screws up... and can you really point out anywhere on this board that went OTT when he won last weekend? Do you know how tired Hamilton fans get of being called out both when he wins, loses or is mediocre? It gets effing boring.. If you don't like the guy, why so much focus on him? If you don't like him.. DON'T TALK ABOUT HIM!
Well if you lot don't talk about him, then i won't have to hear about him all the time, and won't feel compelled to respond. Honestly, it's more annoying than Silvers Vettel fixation.

Now i have some evidence. Ho-ho-ho.
please log in to view this image Not really I couldn't care less, it's too late and I'm now going to bed with my log of goats cheese so toodles!
that depends entirely on what you think it means to be a "better driver" and results can never really be a sure way to judge objectively because you never really know how good a drivers car is, as is constantly claimed about Vettel and Button and them only winning the championship because of their cars, all people are doing there is guessing, which is also obviously influenced by what they want to be the case. Hence why unless someone has a ridiculously good or bad race the results rarely influence how i rate each driver.
Well... I have had enough of this pointless debate. It's clear that us quite unreasonable Hamilton fans are once again in the wrong and clearly forcing our opinion on others. For this, we are quite sorry and I offer our most sincere apologies. I hope that you accept our defeat graciously and with dignity. I'm now going to retire to my living quarters with my spouse and offspring, where we shall not only repent for our support, but also pray for forgiveness from those far superior than us. We shall also denounce our support for all thing Hamilton... and vow to never watch Terminator again from this day forth. I hope you all have a happy night in your singleton... and don't pulleth offetth too muchetcch... G'Night.
