Something to do with my insurance. I was told I would be able to take my free NHS over there so I wouldn't have to pay for health insurance. Now just had a phone call asking me when I would be paying for my health insurance. Told her about my email she said I shouldn't have been told that and I will have to pay for it, Thinking it wouldn't be too much only to be told it will cost me just under £2000............... On top of the 1000 I have to pay for the trip, the 2000 I have to take over with me and the £800 for the flight........... Bit ****ed off

Just spoke to my Mrs she says check their terms, that you have to have the insurance through them if not get a quote elsewhere because it sounds like they are trying to tie you down with THEIR insurance.

I have to pay a grand for the trip, Includes accommodation, Trips, Jobs then helping me get a flat as well as my visa. I HAVE to have at least 2k to take over In my bank which is government rules to make sure ill be ok and the flight is 800. That's almost 4 grand which wasn't really a problem but the insurance is what's dear and due to my medical **** which isn't really that bad its dearer. Ill have to do a bit of research during the weekend. Hope I can find a cheaper way.

    Shiny

    http://www.aceinsure.com/backpacker/

She says this is medical, cancelation, money, muggings and all your belongings. But to phone them not to do this on line, because that way you can double check that its right for you. they are good company who her business uses and works out about £290.
Read through it, you want standard cover not budget.

She don't like people buying insurance on line because you don't always get all the things you wanted included.
