In the absence of the premier league for a couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see how several ex canaries perfom in the football league.

Grant Holt and Leon Barnett both look likely to start for Owen Coyle's Wigan side as they head to Oakwell.
Elliott Ward and Andrew Surman start their Bournemouth careers at home to Charlton.
Marc Tierney tries to rediscover his best form as Bolton take on Burnley and may come up against Jason Shackell.
Tom Adeyemi may get a game for Brum against Watfod
James Vaughan starts his permanent Udders career away to Florist.
Steve Morison goes full circle at the Den against Yeovil.
Chris Martin may lead the line as Derby take on Blackburn
Declan Rudd may have a tough afternoon against Wolves
Korey Smith has a trip to Stevenage with Oldham
Francomb could be in action for the Dons
    Jamie Cureton at Cheltenham
    Cody Mac returns to Gillingham
    Robert Green at QPR
    Ryan Jarvis at York
    Henri Lansbury at Florist
    Rhoys Wiggins at Charlton

All this and the return of Fotheringham for Notts County; Zak Whitbread and Richie De Laet for Leicester, Jukebox for Leeds, Crofts at Brighton and Sammy Clingan for Kilmarnock.

I still can't believe Korey isn't on of the players plying his trade in the Championship. He is far better than league 1, in my opinion.

It's weird having Fotheringham back. Notts County must be desperate. He got booked in the first game.

Think Cardiff and Hull might be ok, they've done well in the transfer window. Palace, I'm not so sure though.

Jamie Cureton scores Cheltenham's first in League 2, but dislocates his shoulder in the process and is whisked off to hospital. Ouch.

Holt and Barney both on the scoresheet for Wigan <yikes>

£5 on that would've been tidy.
    Great start Wigan. <ok>

Lisbie and Mooney score for Orient. Lansbury scores for Florist. Alnwick on bench for Barnsley. Wiggins playing for Charlton.

Dream team of OTJ and the Admiral at Hibs today.

    Lots more I'm sure.

Still nobody wants to sign Spillane.

I had him and Jarvis down as a first team regulars for us - shows you can never be certain of young 'uns.

Then there's Anthony McNamee trying to secure a deal at my hometown club Woking FC in the Conference !

Almost forgot Cody Mac started for Gillingham yesterday.

Richard Brindley made his debut for Rotherham.

Also see that Durojaiye played in the cup for Gary Holt 's Scottish Championship Club Falkirk yesterday.
