Richardson's a great player. I'd have liked him to start at the beginning of last season, but Clyne hit the ground running.

Not a transfer but just saw this

One of the great travesties of 2012/13, was the lack of recognition Morgan Schneiderlin received for his contribution to Southampton’s survival.
Ultimately, the Frenchman’s profile suffered for two reasons: he played for a side who existed outside of the everyday Premier League narrative, and also he specialises in the non-glamorous parts of the game.
Here are a couple of statistics from last season which may surprise you: Nobody in the Premier League averaged more interceptions per game than Schneiderlin (3.9), and nobody other than Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva averaged more successful tackles every 90 minutes (4.1). In addition to that, he also led his side in average passes played per game (52.1), and recorded a passing-accuracy of 85.2% across the season.
So what? Well, that may just sound like a bunch of inconsequential numbers, but Premier League life is a lot harder for a side when they don’t have a player capable of performing to that level in those categories.
Beyond interceptions and tackles, this is someone who could turn into a really good Premier League player, and he has the type of game-reading ability which makes him a real asset to his side when they’re defending or any time they’re without the ball.
Rickie Lambert scored a lot of goals, Adam Lallana was periodically impressive, but Scheiderlin was comfortably Southampton’s player of the year in their return season, and with Victor Wanyama now alongside him in deep-midfield, expect him to be just as relevant this time around.

Did you know Lamb, but in a couple of important areas, Jack Cork out-played Morgan once Pochettino was in place..? Statistics back it up too.

Obviously statistics don't tell the whole story. It'll take more than a couple of numbers to convince me and everybody else Cork is better than Morgan.

I think it will require me to be completely wasted for someone to convince me Cork is better than Morgan.

Oh dear Fran. I hope you are not treating domestic violence in a flippant way. Whether the perpetrator is a man or woman domestic violence is unforgivable.

In the battle of the sexes too many of you young fellows have already thrown in the towel and waved the white flag. You are letting the women win.

Women talk about misogyny but misandry is far more prevalent and if you don't believe me then tune into Women's hour on Radio 4.

Shame it's 2 years too late. Saw him a few times and he is slow as hell and is no way as good as he use to be.

I'm still speechless. It's not about winning and losing. It's about cooperation and understanding. You let Madame St.G see your posts and you'll get a rolling pin round your lughole [Your World scenario :) ]

Even Lambert would look fast to him, he can't even turn properly anymore. He is a player past his prime badly.

It's not a question of manning up. Your old World gender views are truly astonishing. I just hope you're having a laugh.
