Has BR lost his ****ing mojo. Why does he want to blow 20 million on this guy when he should be looking to bolster the Defence and Midfield. Henderson and Allen aren't going to help us push to top4 and Gerrard isn't getting any younger. It's crucial that we bring in a top Midfielder. Besides 8 goals in 31 league games is hardly enticing. BR talked about singing 'Fighters' and i think he's taking it a bit too far. If that's his only criteria, we might have sacrifice quality just for the added drama. Didn't he get rid of one such 'fighter' aldready in Shelvey. Was his antics any good to us. I have a feeling this could be why he isn't going after Eriksen. I'd honestly be devastated if we go ahead with this signing. Way to risky for us to go spend such a sum on a player we don't really need. We have Sturrdige already and not City or chavski to have a 20million guy as backup. Aspas had better numbers playing for a worse team last season, so should pip him for a place in flanks aswell. I just don't get why we are after him, Especially for the sum being quoted.

I woudn't mind Vucinic as Backup as long as it's less than 10million. I just don't want BR to blow a huge chunk of the budget on a player that isn't going to improve the first11. I think it pretty clear from pre-season sofar that we need to bring in another playmaker. Could be the difference between finishing top 4 and 7/8. We can't rely solely on Coutinho for an entire season. Like i said Gerrard is getting slower by the day, and even though im fan of Henderson, he isn't going to help our cause and Allen is distinctly average. Im totally content about our attack and defence. I think it's the midfield that needs improvement.
