So you wouldn't have Sturridge or Aspas? Borini is a strange one, not sure if that will work out. Just think Kone is Anichebe mark II.
I've never seen Aspas play mate, so I can't comment. I've always rated Sturridge though. Kone's not bad, but not good enough to take us forwards imo. btw Costa is badly meh, IF he is being lined up as Suarez replacement, prepare to be gravely disappointed.
Only saw him once against Real in the Copa del rey and on the day he killed Real's defense. BUT will have to see, did score a nice amount of goals and shot-goal % isn't bad either. We will have to see. Jelavic looked like he was going to be an average signing when he first came due to the level of Rangers but that half a season he was awesome ( not sure why his form fell so bad this past year?).
Oh god, is it like that already? Sure fire sign of a dodgy signing = inflated transfer price before name. (See £35m striker Andy Carrol or £20m winger Stewart Downing) /I think Borini will come good.
He's really pacey isn't he? As for Jelavic, he was brilliant in his first 6 months, looked an absolute steal, but was poor last season, he looked a different player! Confidence was all that was missing imo, as he's an instinctive finisher with most of his goals being just 1 touch. As soon as he started thinking about it, his game went to pot.
Costa? I think so. Think that is why he was either used in tandem with Falcao or out wide when he played. Only have to look at one Torres to see what confidence can do to your game ( also what happens when you have certain traits such as first step and pace, when that leaves, can you adapt).
No mate I meant Aspas. I've seen a fair bit of Costa, & I'm not really having him tbh. Always looked a bit ungainly to me & he's a proper snide to boot!
We'll have to see hoe Aspas plays in the PL. Costa too. Torres was slightly better than average with 16 goals his best, comes to the prem and scores bags. Michu was good in Spain but one of the top players in his position in the PL. Sometimes players are more suited to one league over the other. Looking forward to see how it pans out Costa games 36, goals 20, assists 8, last season. Season before games 15, goals 10, assists 4. Not bad at all for an ungainly fellow
