When berbatov was being called lazy, it was because he wasn't running around, yet why run around when you're smart enough to stand still and attract the ball like a magnet? the guy was just using his intelligence to read the game and awareness around him so Keane would do all the running and Berba would stand still and then use his class, he's still doing today for Fulham and we really should have tried to re-sign him.

Adebayor lazy, is a player who isn't interested, his mind isn't on the game, he's most likley thinking he doesn't want to be on the pitch until he suddenly sees a chance to score and grab the headlines, messes up and then goes back to his piss taking self, not interested in Adebayor any more, unless he realises he has to show more urgency.

All you have done Boss is to re-iterate 'your perception' of Adebayor and all this explains is what you think. I find it difficult to understand how you can claim to 'know' what Adebayor is thinking. Whether he is pissed of and can't be bothered I don't think we can be sure of unless he tells us so. The fact that you do not like his contribution on the field is a different matter and is fair comment.

True I can't know for sure, and its how i perceive Adebayor yet these type of perceptions follow him from club to club and while some players do receive unfair criticisms, I believe Adebayor has a reputation for a reason.

Also he has ever completed back to back seasons of good form in his career? I know he had that great season with the goons and then he was great with us for a season, yet why does he struggle to carry on decent from from one season to the next?

I don't know why or even if he can't put two seasons together but I think he has a case for the last one not working out. Boss you may be quite right about him but unless we can sign better then I live in hope that with the extra competition provided by Soldado we may see a return to the form that made us want to sign him from City in the first place.

There is always so much hype around strikers and some have made a career on the strength of one magic moment, Barnes, Owen, Postiga, come to mind. At least with Ade we know he can do it and I don't dismiss his ball holding abilities which could be very useful if Soldado is as sharp as he looks.

After all this debate we'll probably sell him <laugh>

  6. The trouble is, Ade hasn't been any better for us than Crouch was.

That's a bit harsh, especially the season Ade was on loan.

Crouch is one of the worst players iv ever seen. Ever. How can someone so tall not be able to head the ball?

I think he's scored more goals with his head against us than for us!

Why does the OP have a comment of me in his signature? I don't believe I have ever talked to him or seen him on the Arsenal board. Are you my stalker?

So basically this guy just camps on the Arsenal board and reads everybody's comments? Like I said, stalker <laugh>

  12. It's all perfectly simple.

What I do is make regular visits to your board, read carefully all the comments made by Gooners, making especial note of comments that are critical of your club or your manager. When I find a suitable comment, I copy it, word for word, being extremely careful to get the correct spelling of the poster. I log out of the Gooner board page and onto my profile page, and copy/paste the comment to my signature.

But, I can assure you that I am not a stalker.

Adebayor is better than Crouch come on!
I really think he's worth another punt this season. He had a **** season last year and this is definitely last chance saloon. Hopefully with an uninterrupted ore season behind him we can start seeing the Adebayor of 2 seasons ago.

I think if he was on more acceptable wages HIAG i would be more patient with him and say keep him.

PPL say he was lazy, but he wasn't. He ran around like a loose cannon/Headless chicken. He worked his nuts off but in a fruitless (Holtbyish) way.

I think we would be better off getting rid, losing his rediculous wages, and getting in someone else such as remy.

Or using the Bale money to buy a proven striker, attacking midflielder, CB and investing the rest in the stadium.

Uninterrupted preseason? Has he played then? Most our starters seem to be skipping preseason this year
