Costa games 36, goals 20, assists 8, last season. = very good haul.
Season before games 15, goals 10, assists 4 = very good haul for 15 games

 

Actually as Dubbed is a frequent watcher of La Liga, I would say he is in quite a good position to make a judgement on him, although in this case I disagree, I think Costa is very good. May come with a bit of baggage though.

 

David Ornstein has just said on 5Live that Suarez is planning to talk to LFC again and if they refuse to let him speak to Arsenal he will hand in a transfer request.

 

Interesting. Can we say things are finally beginning to move along again?

 

Always felt Suarez would have to push for a move if we were to get him for a more favorable price so hopefully this is the first step.

Suarez can do all he likes, unless you cough up more than 50 million he will not be going to Arsenal. We would sooner whore him off to Spain and Italy for half that. You may well believe your goal next season is the title, fact is Chelsea, City and United will be above you and we have our eyes firmly set on 4th - doesn't mean we'll get it - but ****ing ******ed if we give you our best player isn't it when you're sitting firmly in the position we're targetting??

We where a single game from finishing 2nd and yet most Arsenal fans feel without signings it will be difficult to maintain 4th with spurs improving there squad. What makes you think Liverpool are all of a sudden going to be better than both Arsenal and Spurs?

We didn't have Suarez last season and as you have said where 12 points better off than you lot, that is fairly big gap - the same size as the gap between 18th (relegation) and 8th - one spot behind Liverpool.
