They're acting like headless chickens on the City Facebook page. Corry was a decent player but you'd think we'd just released Messi the way some of those clowns are going on. I'm certain we will not have let players go if we weren't sure of replacements and if they'd be improvement on what we previously had. Good luck to both players at Blackburn though and many thanks to them for their efforts whilst at the club.

Now we've lost two of our young midfielders, probably they on Premier wages due to contract clauses, we need to bring in experienced Premier midfielders.
A couple who can come straight into first team reckoning, it was fairly obvious that the leaving duo weren't.

Does anyone think with Cainey and Evans going there it may be part of a deal to bring in Rhodes? We still have the budget for him.

Think a big deal like that would have leaked out to the media before now.

    Reasons for letting him go:

    - didn't score many?

    - not aggressive or assertive enough?

    -not creative enough?

    - not big/strong enough?

    Dunno -just speculating.

He never had a stinker , always tidy, hardworking and easily a top end of the Championship larker.

Just shows how high we are setting the bar these days.

Thats Hobbs, Stewart, Evans all ex Big Nige players all moved on.

Just Dudgeon and Brady left of that little group.

Some real bollocks talked on this thread but not by aggers.

The MOTM result via Goochie from the Leeds game

    Result:

    Faye
    Quinn
    Meyler

Both Faye and Quinn got 47 votes, but Faye wins because 8 put him first but Quinn only got 7 1st place.

The most bizarre part of the transfer is loaning a player to the same club you're selling a player to, especially when they play in the same position. I doubt Blackburn will line up with both of them in the middle of the park next season so what benefit to the loan is there? Surely they will play the player they have bought above the player they have loaned in

Wondering if Brucey insisted on the loan as a way to shake Cairney up a little. Even the experience of being around different players will have a benefit. Still cling to some sort of hope Cairney can make it here, albeit a slim hope

Dont understand why some on here( entitled to their opinion) think £750 is a great deal. We are talking about a good player who has just played a big part in an auto promoted championship team who is only 23.

Compare him to mclean who was over a million and the fee,s paid for some dross around it seems a good deal for only blackburn..
