Having checked out Alejandro Pozulo's credentials several months ago I thought then that this lad could be little gem. I'm even more convinced of this now in the light of his performances this pre season. It's true he does have a fiery temper but hopefully ML can help him develop in the right way, we must remember he's only 21 and I believe he has a very bright future with us, I was once again impressed with his contribution last night against Malmo. Only cost us £425,000, what a BARGAIN!!

I agree, think he's going to be this year's Michu.

Very exciting player, if we can cram him in somewhere!

I was so impressed with all our new signings last night, but this lad looks like a fantastic buy. We are getting to a point where a first eleven is a real headache to pick, but what a fantastic problem to have. I hope for another record breaking season for our club.

Like I said yesterday, though there were many positives, Pozuelo's goal was the highlite of the game, and his movement on the ball is class! Really liking this lad, and I can see him becoming a fans favourite!............... <cheers>

I rated Pozuelo the first time I clapped eyes on him and said so in an earlier thread. This guy is quality and let's not forget that before he got injured playing in Spain, Barca were looking very hard at him as a striker. If that doesn't show potential ability, I don't know what does.

Agree with Ivor. He was awesome last night and am very pleased to have him here. Selection issues ahead but what a choice to have.

That you did Ivor, that you did...

anyone notice the disservice the BBC did him in their write up? "he received the ball from Bony and finished"
actually he took the ball on his chest, at speed, and instinctively volleyed it into the bottom right hand corner!

It was a great finish, natural talent.
I think this fella is going to walk the walk as opposed to say, a natural talent squandered like Orlandi

Call me daft, Terror, but I actually think that Orlandi would have flourished in this set up. I think Laudrup let him go too soon but, in fairness, he has to back his judgement.

Another "nice" Spanish guy and he was on Talk Sport this am talking about Brighton. I wish him every success.
