Still, NOF proved you were talking pants And the lies, Chelsea finished above Liverpool who fell out of the CL, you are talking pants again You do know the difference between up and down don't you?
Wanting to stay at the top side in the league and prove you are the No1 is ambition. Going to Chelsea is stepping into a smaller pond no doubt. he's gonna be the no1 forward there no doubt, before a ball is kicked. Now don't abuse me because i disagree
Rooney would almost certainly be first choice over Torres if he went there. Jose was making that clear with his "2nd choices warnings"
Sideways there abouts, 2 years ago a step down, but at the moment both are domestic league champions by a stretch and both went out of the CL
He hasn't said he wants to leave Barca because he can't get in the team and were he to join United he'd be playing for the reigning league champions.
If Chelsea win 5 of the next 7 league titles and United win 1 then I'd expect their ambitious players will probably want to stay at Chelsea rather than move to United and not just because they can earn more money at Chelsea.
And despite these facts, many 'scousers' couldn't accept why Torres wanted to move. A player doesn't really give a **** about history - just what he can win and get paid at the time. Hence why Spurs are able to sign so many players Liverpool have been linked with these last couple of years.
and to that end... If Rooney thinks he can win more at Chelsea in the next 3-5 years then he can at United, it's not really a step down. That's debateable of course but not out of the question. But i agree he should probably show more ambition to try and win back his place but then Moyes seems to have made his mind up in this regard already.
Possibly, I don't know the exact details of all the players' salaries. I leave it to people like you to make "factual" statements based on heresay. I do know that Chelsea's wage bill is higher than United's but it's brought them less success than United.
????? So if Rooney had decided to move to say QPR and the owners plan hadn't backfired allowing them to buy their way to success (like another London club ), would that have not been a step down?
