I really don't know what the Indian cricket board have against the use of DRS.
Especially when playing Australia who shoot themselves in the foot every single time they review a decision <laugh>

    Good old twitter <ok>

    Warner: I've not hit that.
Clarke: You have. You've hit that.
    Warner. I'll hit you.
    Clarke: OK, review it. <laugh>

If we can restrict them to 450 it'll be a decent effort considering they were 303-3 at stumps.

We definitely need to get Haddin and Clarke quickly as they will score fast to try to set up a position where they can maybe declare on say 500-520 and have a few overs at our openers tonight. Given the series poistion they will have to take chances to try to force a result as a draw leaves the Ashes with us and there will be a fiar amount of time lost due to rain if the forecasts are to be believed. I think that the Aussies' best chance of forcing a win is score as many as quickly as possible, declare and then try to skittle us out and force a follow-on. We have the luxury of being able to take as much time out of the match as we choose in the knowledge that given the current position in the match and the series we would be happy with a draw.

They are very much in the driving seat. Clarke's innings has been excellent (barring one or two wobbles) However, my money would be on a draw looking at the weather forecast.

We needed that. Hopefully the Aussie's score won't get too silly now.

Bad light stops play, Aussies lead is about 330 I think. Presuming we don't get any more play today, fingers crossed we get some rain tomorrow and that'll probably be the draw sewn up.

The pitch was starting to look good for bowling. If the weather fails to disrupt things we need to send Clarke back to the pavilion as quick as possible, I always find their tail enders are stubborn to get out when they have more accomplished batsmen present with them.

We seem to have taken up the Assie view of DRS, let's waste all reviews as soon as possible! <doh>

Worst review since DRS came into the game.
Absolute shocker. Wasted by Cook. Let's hope we don't need to ask for a review later and have none left <yikes>

I'm about to head out of the office and start rain-dancing. I know England are under pressure but we have lost three world class batters all to pretty tame deliveries and contrived to waste both our reviews. I don't know what Cook was thinking but I hope that utterly wasted review doesn't come back to haunt us. Let's hope the two form horses Root and Bell can keep the Aussies out until the clouds roll in.
