    I would like to play this year - but:
    a) need a complete idiot's guide and
    b) need a mini league to join (am self-employed and a girl, so no-one obvious to play with... sob!)
    Any ideas?

    Well, I'm in & have sorted a team. Don't quite understand it, or what happens now, so will have to think of this year as an experiment I think!
    Can't wait for the non-fantasy season to start - it's felt like a really long break this year.

    It's definitely not. It takes time and effort as well as luck to get the really high scores, making sure you're on the ball & playing the right players - my brother is really good at the game and consistently gets a few hundred points more than me every season.
    Seriously do some reading on FPL tactics and you'll see that there are certainly ways to maximise your points.

    How much is Soldado? Also I went on the FPL forums and nearly all of them have all **** defenders and amazing strikers and midfield.
