    That's a decent team. But Bale was pretty much Spurs last season so if he left they would need a new team

    Or 86 Rickie Lamberts. To be fair...Gareth is seen as a game changer...price comes down to supply and demand. Top teams, especially on the continent, have to make regular marquee signings to keep their fans happy.

    Soldado is done save for the medical apparently, will be a huge signing for Spurs I reckon.

    I assumed we were anyway. Seems fairly obvious that we are actively pursuing both him and Banega. I think we'll end up with both, I'm more interested to know whether that will be the end of it or not.

    Banega and Damiao would take our spending this summer to about £50m. Can't see there being much else done of any significance.

    It's been so close (according to a few of those ITK) for so long that like the Wanyama situation I just can't envisage it falling apart.

    Haven't heard anything 'concrete' for a while. Barely any speculation now on this player. I think he would be a great player for us but Valencia don't need to sell now Soldado is on his way.

    Soldado's fee is enough to allow them to service a near 500m Euro debt? Seems like a drop in the ocean. According to some the fee is agreed already.

    You can look at pretty much all Beef's posts on the Banega thread. He has some info on the matter and has insisted it will happen from the start, apparently all is agreed but the player and agent are stalling things so Cortese has left it alone for the time being.
