Evening all from a cool bar terrace - the WiFi is working at the moment, so taking the advantage.

Just a few days left and then back to corporate madness, but football and The Ashes...

Hiya mate. Nice to see you about. Yeah, we start away at Birmingham, happy memories from last season, so we hope to replicate them on Saturday.

How you feeling ahead of the season?

Feeling confident we can bounce straight back, bought in some good players and got some decent youth players coming through which we've never had in recent seasons, top 6 would be a good finish

Awake at 5 and couldn't get back to sleep, much to my annoyance. They say you need less as you get older but it still doesn't feel right to be up and about so early. Better get used to it, I suppose. Off to watch Hampshire cricket later today.

Morning Theo, I'm up at 5.45 every morning, quite often best part of the day - weather wise. Enjoy the cricket but don't forget your brolly.

Thanks in advance Ak for the coffee.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Morning all, hot and sunny here again, but a bit more breeze that helps to take the edge off it. Storms forecast for this evening, and I am now on orange alert for them, meaning that they feel confident that we will see them. Quite a lot of damage done further west with the last ones, but we were not badly hit by them. Still with the possibility of hail I had better go and get my plums off the trees.
