Gotta be able to tell the difference between justice and revenge. We all get the "eye for an eye" lust after reading stories like that, but we have to remember it wouldn't be helping anyone. The best the justice system can do is ensure it never happens again. The past is the past.

I cannot agree with the state cold-bloodedly devising methods of killing prisoners. It diminishes us all. They may deserve to die, but mustn't be allowed to drag us down to their level. Prison sentences should reflect the crime...I see no reason for this couple to see the light of day. In contrast, non-violent crimes should be punished with short, sharp sentences, which increase in length if repeated...so you don't get the same sentence for your second and third conviction that you got for your first.

On a happier note, JWP says in the Mail that players like Bale wouldn't have left present day Saints. Says its the place to be for young players such as himself, Shaw and Chambers. He is turning into quite a club mouthpiece, isn't he?

Please don't make me look at the Mail again Fran - I did it once for DTLW's link earlier. I can't do it twice in a day......(not a euphemism).

Club Communications Officer Jim Lucas says they like putting JWP up for this stuff, as he enjoys it and they think he is very articulate too.

Question for people with more technological knowledge than myself :

Is there any way I can wirelessly stream films etc from my computer to my TV?

Wouldn't have thought so. I don't know if your TV (or any TV for that matter) is capable of that.

Yes. In fact, only a few days ago, Google provided a means to do it, by bringing out a dongle for streaming content from any device that it can sync to. Your TV has to have an HDMI input and your computer has to be able to transmit. This isn't difficult if you already have a wireless capability in your PC/laptop/tablet/mobile via the CPU or onboard wireless card or wireless adaptor/dongle, such as a Netgear WG111v3 or similar. The cost is £22 for the additional Google dongle.

There are other less well known devices that have been able to do it for quite a while now, but apart from Apple's costly [and no doubt highly profitable] much have product, this is the first high profile, easily affordable device. Note, doesn't work on CRT TVs because of the input. It may still work with an adaptor into a Scart socket, but I've yet to find that out.

    The quick answer is yes.

I like to give an explanation. If I leave people in doubt I haven't answered the question. Crikey, are you knocking it..? I would have thought it would be appreciated. By the way, leave the - sign out when you do a smiley otherwise you get :) when you mean :)

On an altogether more important front, Britain's Cal Crutchlow has just finished his MotoGP career off before it even got going by signing for Ducati for the next two years. I can't see this as anything other than a disastrous decision. Sorry Cal. You should have stayed with Yamaha Tech 3.

Ridiculous isn't it, I really like Cal but I can't see this being motivated by anything other than money. Strange because I thought Cal had a genuine desire to be at the sharp end, a real racer. Ducati have shown time and time again that they can't put a winning package together. I really hope I'm wrong.

I'm actually seriously pissed off about it. I imagine GBS will be suitably peeved too.

Have you seen anything with Cal giving his own reasoning yet? I thought with the 3 bike rule next year he had a real chance to get a Yamaha/Honda factory ride. He's shown he is capable.

Unless Ducati have something up their sleeves...or maybe they thinking that if they rekindle the days when Dovi and Cal would fight over 4th and 5th when they were team-mates, it might actually happen :p
