He's looked fairly good, nice first touch and clinical finishing. Gets shoved off the ball a bit though and this team isn't exactly quality. Swans on the other hand look chuffing excellent. They'll be tough to beat
Yep which is why a few days ago I said I think Swansea will finish 6th, only behind Chelsea, City, Spurs, United and Arsenal next year.
I won't say too much about certain signings as i think I've made it clear how atrocious the defending is in Holland, its one of the worst "top" leagues in europe for defending so players such as bony and jozy are made to look good, however I like swansea so no worries if Bony proves me wrong yet Malmo are hardly going to offer much of a resistance so be interesting to see how bony does and if Michu can carry on his form as towards the end of last season he started to look fairly average.
please log in to view this image Levy the bloody cheapskate! Probably has him sleeping on his sofa tonight too.
It's utterly ridiculous So long as we don't get sponsored by them so Levy can get a discount when he's flying in record signings and our new DoF.
€30m signing, Louis Vitton luggage and flying Ryan Air. I wonder who our Spanish Ambassador is? We've got plenty of Portuguese speakers, English, German, French, Belgian, Icelandic... Adebayor? Spent some time over there. Might not be the best choice! And before anyone says it, not Bale.
Now I know why he cost 26m. 1m transfer fee + 25m Ryanair surcharge for bringing 2 extra items of hand luggage onboard.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...e-link-up-at-tottenham-as-real-madrid-move-in Soldado, speaking to reporters at the airport as he boarded a flight to England, said: "I think everybody knows about Gareth Bale. He's a great player. It will be hard to keep him but I hope he stays with Tottenham." http://www1.skysports.com/football/...valencia-president-ahead-of-tottenham-medical "I'm very hopeful," he said. "But I'm leaving Valencia after three unforgettable years. But it's a new project and a new change in my life for me and my family. "It is a good deal for Valencia and for me. All this time I didn't say a word to not harm Valencia's club image and the transfer itself until everything was totally clear. "I'm leaving because I don't trust in the new (Valencia) project. The president all this time was telling me lies several times since I talked to him on the phone. "I think the deal could have been done with sincerity but it was not. "I wish Valencia all the best. They will always be in my heart. "This decision was mine entirely and my family, no-one was pushing me to go." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2 things I take from this:- 1 - It seems like he wanted to come to Spurs, not that he was forced out of Valencia and the way he kept his silence if he was that desperate to leave is honourable as he sounds pretty pissed off. Seems a decent bloke. 2 - This backs up the points ive been making over the last few days - Players understand it will be hard to keep Bale but still believe in our club / manager / other players. It's not all doom and gloom regardless of Bale.
Whose going to tell him? We even have a Patois speaker! And I don't know what language Lennon speaks but it's certainly not English!
Let's face it with all the add ons the only people who can afford to fly Ryan Air are Footballers and David Beckham.
Ryan air. I like that he's that eager to sign. Bodes well. Sort CB, LB and the chaf and this side could be ready for something special. Speaking of chaf, any update on Dempsey?
