    Doesn't matter now:

    Almost as soon as the likes of the BBC and Guardian claimed Liverpool have made a 25 million euro bid for Diego Costa, Atletico Madrid have denied receiving any offer through Madrid-based paper AS.

    Atletico Madrid say they have not received an offer from Liverpool, or any other club, for the combative Brazilian striker.

    I've only seen him once, in the Copa Del Ray final vs Real. He was outstanding in that game.

    Can't judge a player on one game, but I did think he would be a good player to have. <whistle>
