Wiki says 2 goals in 70 apps since 2009. But TC looked PL class when he played alongside George Boetang in the PL.
GB looked after him and maybe that is what Tom needs now. Twt as it always does.

There is a rule about home grown players for the PL but they only have to have played for any English club between certain ages. Almost all of our squad will qualify and you only need about 8.

That's right I was thinking that 4 of the 8 had to be trained at the club but that's champions league rules not Premier League.

Having read it 8 have to be 'home grown' players. This doesn't mean English, they have to have been trained at a club affiliated with either the English or Welsh FA for 3 Seasons (not necessarily consecutive) or 36 Months prior to their 21st birthday.

So like you say most of our squad.

That's Horse! If Tom Cairney had left Terry and Lampard 'flat-footed' he'd be playing for Chelsea right now. When the ball came to him on his right side he was cactus. There are many players who use 'one foot' but they are clever enough to position themselves to negate the problem. Cairney isn't. He has done no work whatsoever to improve his game.

He absolutely did, Cairney against Chelsea was one of the best individual performances I've seen from a City player.

Bit out of the blue, suggests we are close on bringing in a midfielder?

There has to be one lined up, i can't see Bruce letting him go without a replacement about to join us. I was hoping this loan could be part of a Rhodes move here...

Huh. Well I'll be. I have to say I didn't see this one coming, but it could be a shrewd signing by Blackburn. Mauro Formica coming the other way?

He'd best be getting game time there.

You could easily replace the name Cairney with Quinn in this statement, Quinn has a bit more but he's older other than that you've just described both of them
