I think his big problem is that he has no concept of banter. As soon as someone makes any kind of comment that isn't 100% pro United he comes out with his agreesive and often irrelevant responses.

For me these boards don't work if you can't have opinions and input from rival fans as well as your own fans, obviously within reason.

Matth, seriously, most of us tend to get on in these forums.
Occassionally there are some banter matches but you are the only one that has an issue like this.
Maybe some of the people on here are quick to jump on you but you really dont help yourself mate. As soon as someone says something even remotely outside of your line of thinking we get told to f(u)ck off, stick a plastic flag up our a$$ or that we are WUMMING.

If you toned it down and maybe tried to see the funny side of things then things would get better, but because you react the way you do, it makes people want to wind you up more.
Hopefully you can see I am not being nasty here and am trying to help so I would appreciate it if you refrained from posting back with swearing or some kind of insult.

lol I would hardly call it a sermon. I really dont care what he posts to be honest. I was just giving him some advice on how he could make things better for himself. I am not one of the people "bullying" Matth, I have hardly said two words to him.
This is all pointless anyway, since he will no doubt be banned within the next few days.

As discussed before if Matth causes trouble on other boards, the mods responsible can arrange local bans. But as brb said he stays unless the Utd mods say otherwise. As these are the Utd threads why don't the Chelsea fans if they are so annoyed by Matth simply return their boards and ignore him? After all he was banned I believe yesterday from your board. So why come on here looking to wind him up?

I don't get it myself, I find it very, very sad that grown men can spend their lives on the internet attempting to wind up other adults.
It's sad and pathetic, and its become even more sad and pathetic when the person they are targeting is known to have mental health issues.

It's very much the internet equivalent of pointing and laughing when they see someone in the street with downs and to be perfectly honest they get exactly what they deserve and really should be ashamed.

Exactly. I guess the issue is whether or not you think you have some sort of ownership over a board just because you support that team.

I can't see that United fans have any more right to be on this board than fans of any other team frankly. Obviously the purpose of mods is to ensure wums/abusive posters don't ruin it for everyone else. Normally they'll be from rival teams due to the partisan nature of football fans but that's not to say the same rules shouldn't apply to 'home' posters either.

I don't see why I or other rival fans shouldn't come here for some debate and banter just because one moron thinks we are ALL ****s.

Frankly he could be trying to garner sympathy for all we know; unless you know him personally of course???

 

Also, I dont care what kind of disability you have, if you start hurling abuse at people for no reason then you are in the wrong and he shouldnt complain when he gets it back.
If his disability doesnt allow him to understand that, then, for his own mental health, he shouldnt be posting on here.
