or the club, man up should not be on that list imo. Might as well ban grow up, cop on, pull yourself together, suck it up and a host of other similar things
grow up - ageist pull yourself together - discriminates against Lepers suck it up - you dirty batard! cop on - wtf?!?!
It seems that your kit supplier haven't read them either..... http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/l...w-offensive-language-policy-on-their-website/
this is yet another PR disaster by the club. The intentions were right (to show that the club won't tolerate anti-social behaviour) but they needed to put a lot more thought into this than they have! The manager has ****ed up, the kit suppliers have too, lots of offensive words missing, some very silly/pedantic words on the list, etc. Its just crazy for a multi-million pound company and a world wide brand to **** up like this
The thing is they had to [?] go on an awareness course following Suarezgate. They were pilloried by black community groups and accused by them of inciting racism so they have taken steps to show they are at least trying to address the issue. The leaked 'document' is a handout for matchday staff and it looks like one of the staff must have leaked it themselves otherwise we'd see the proper document and not an iphone special. The club haven't said anything officially [I don't think] - so it's a bit of a breach of confidence by the person who released the image. The club could have given staff verbal instructions about what generally isn't acceptable to listen out for, rather than try and come up with a definitive list and they've certainly been naiive in not anticipating in these Twitter days that it would be open to the world before the ink was dry.
