I don't get how some Spurs fans thought that he would WANT to stay over leaving for Ream Madrid. I also don't get what some idiotic 'experts' are smoking when the say that he is 'too young'. Utter bullshit, he's in his prime. He may not be a big fish in a small pond anymore at Real. He'll still get a lot of game time. Even if he didn't...He will achieve a lot more than if he stayed at Spurs. I just don't get what benefit he will get if he stays at Spurs now. Not to be insulting Spurs, I could say exactly the same about Suarez.
Completely agree on the stupidity of the too young opinions. 17 might be too young, not 23 A lot of it is down to the actual individual them self and their character, those who just blurt out crap based on age alone, they just want to be heard.
They're eating something, or maybe they've been drinking tap water, that or Wenger fixed them up with a bit of what they are smoking at the emirates
It will be good to see the biggest cheat in the league gone and I reckon he will fit in well over there with all the other cheats.
Spuds board is hilarious now; suddenly they won't miss Bale, football's a team sport and he actually ruined their matches by players always seeking to give him the ball Last season, they'd bite your head off if you argued precisely that. Gotta love football fans.
It's been reported Madrid can now expect competition with a rumoured a new bid of £100 million tabled by London zoo given the rarity of the almost hairless chimp, they expect to double their money within a year through massive public interest and daily entertainment as the chimp does tricks with a ball. Bale's parents say since he was small they always knew he'd be a footballer please log in to view this image
Some pundit on the radio (talk****) was saying that because he's 24 and from Wales, Bale won't be able to adapt to the more relaxed lifestyle (i.e. the Spaniards do everything later, they don't have breakfast until 10am OMG, and sometimes don't even think about going out to a bar until 10pm, OMG!) and the fact that they have tapas in Madrid, and the fact that they might only drink two drinks with food on a night out as opposed to four buckets of WKD mixed with disinfectant, and the fact that Madrid, London and Paris are the only three truly global cities in Europe. Bale is a top athlete he'll be looked after by top dieticians so I doubt he's shoving copious amounts of anything down his gob, even in the slate and fertiliser eating, sheep dip swilling, underground tunnel living ghost town that is Wales. Sports broadcasting at its most utterly laughable, as is the speculation around his transfer and the current valuation.
Was gonna say exactly the same, I think most of us have already got there in our heads, we're just waiting for the papers to be signed so the avalanche of hypocrisy and vitriol can spilleth forth.
We've been saying it about Suarez since his first ban tbh when we realised we played better football without him - except no other fans accepted that viewpoint at the time, we were still a one man club even when the one man was in the crowd watching.
Precisely, within the same stupid, dumbass argument they were pointing out the very same. I find that it's their own stultifying prejudice and small mindedness they're trying to impose onto people they may have met once in a press conference. Serves me right for tuning into idiotsville though. I'm going to rip the radio out of my car so there's a hole for a baby chimp/gorilla to stick one arm through and pass me one of those bats with an elasticated ball to play with whenever I'm bored in there from now on.
