Stick with bruce look at all the teams that sack their manager, they almost always still get relegated
Depends how we've been playing, if we're at Christmas and we haven't picked up a point or a win then saying things like "Bruce without a doubt" is just daft. If we're in a position where we're still fighting then keep him on!
Completely depends on the situation if he does a Brownie and has a naughty step and leaves Figueroa and Chester on the bench in favour of Bruce and Mcshane, i will go hand him his P45. If we don't score a goal for 10 games and the 3-5-2 is horrific and we don't try and change it, then maybe we should sack him. Its stupid to say never sack Bruce, i rate Bruce very highly as he has done very little wrong so far, it doesn't mean he should avoid the sack if he is the reason we go down. However i doubt it will be, it will be the quality of players more than likely.
I'd be disgusted if we sacked him. We overachieved last season, if we go down this year he deserves until Christmas at least next season.
If we sack Bruce we deserve to go down, just like we got what we deserved when Brown was sacked by football genius Adam Pearson. I don't think the Allams would be that daft though, as long as Bruce remains honest we've got nothing to worry about.
Completely agree mate, if he's constantly making bad decisions or refusing to change systems or whatever and costing us points then he shouldn't be invincible. Hopefully its irrelevant and we're top of the league at Christmas anyway.
I think the Allams should be looking to extend hos contract now. I get the feeling he will be happy to stay here for a long time. Move Alex into the backroom staff next season, long term dynasty.
Three promotions from Championship is hard to better. IMO we couldn't find anyone with a better record.
Actually Fez is spot on, we sacked Brown too late, should have gone at Christmas give the new guy a fighting chance ( but not Dowie)
I'll be very surprised if we sack Bruce this season; if we go down I don't think I'd be as disappointed as I was when we went down in 2010, as long as we give it a really good go I'll be happy. The last season we spent in the PL we were just underwhelming and relegation seemed inevitable. There's a bit more optimism now that we have a more experienced manager in charge, but I can't really see past a season of dancing with relegation at the moment. We've brought in some good players, but with the signings other PL clubs seem to be making, we might struggle to compete. Each game is going to feel like an FA Cup tie this season; anything more than a point gained in a match is a bonus.
