I have a team poster from 06/07 with people like Sarmiento and Fuller on it...jesus. And a young Adam Lallana in the youth team.

Do you not have Saints Player, FLT..? You can see Saganowski in League One playing alongside Lambert in a couple of matches. One of them where he was subbed near the end and Papa Waigo got his first league appearance, I believe. Not sure about Rasiak though.

Edit: I see Dan has settled the confusion re Rasiak.

Must have been. Neal Trotman and Papa Waigo are in it and I don't think they were signed until after the season started.

I was looking at ex-loanees since the takeover the other day.

Jacob Mellis is at Barnsley, Antonio is of course at Sheffield Wednesday. Dany N'Guessan is at Millwall.

Nicholas Bignall is now a free agent.

Rasiak left at the end of August 2009. Man that was a strange time.

Haven't a clue, was told he didn't like Southampton or Saints fans tho. Don't know if there's any truth in that.

Any guitarists on here who have used Elixir strings? I splashed out on a pack yesterday and it turns out I kinda hate them. I want to know if they get less **** after they've been worn in a bit.

Sorry Joe, but same here and no they don't. What's worse, they last a long time, and worse still they're expensive. Put them on something cheap and crap and they will make it sound a tad better, but on anything half decent they make them poorer. They were quite the string to have before people really started listening. I hate their toppy, thin sound. If you're playing an acoustic, I went for La Bella Silk and Steels. They sound really good. Obviously the heavier the gauge the fuller the tone. I went for medium in them.

Fender bullets for the Squier and some nice strings that can't remember for the Vintage. All medium.

    Edit: D'Adarrio for the VS6.

Edit again: Lying..! Ernie Ball regular Slinkys for the VS6. An old Epiphone has the D'Adarrio's. The Basher has the Elixirs and sounded OK with them. But I've stopped playing it.

Yeah, this is my acoustic. I bought them because I wanted to try something new and the guy in the shop recommended them and said he uses nothing else. I went for a lighter gauge than usual as well (.011-.052). They have a nice sound and I guess the protective coating is what makes them so expensive, but my hands slip all over the place when playing lead and I'm making tons of mistakes. I suppose that could help improve my accuracy in the long run, in the same way that Brazilians practice football with tiny balls and no shoes. I'll give your recommendation a go next time, and I've also heard good things about D'Addario so that's on the shopping list too.

For my Squier I always use Ernie Ball Super Slinky or Hybrid Slinky.
