I'd say that's guaranteed early on to make a point that he's not gone. Reckon the head of refs is in for a lot of letters from him throughout the season too. I don't think Moyes is a puppet but Fergie's there in case of emergency, like sprinklers in an office building.
I think Liverpool have a good chance to finish 5th ahead of Spurs and Everton and Villa providing they don't lose Suarez.
The spuds should be praying that Liverpool sell Suarez to us, if Bale ****s off to Madrid, it might be their only hope of securing Europey league football again.
You really think Liverpool can over take City, Chelsea, Arsenal, United or Spurs to get 5th. If they lose Suarez I wouldnt bank on them making top 10 tbh, let alone top 5.
They're probably hoping that City, Chelsea and United are guaranteed CL. Only the optimistic/deluded will put money on Liverpool top four. So they give Spurs good odds in the hope of a big influx of bets, thinking that historically Arsenal tend to pip them. Maybe?
They don't need to overtake City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Utd though, only Everton and the Spuds. That said, I think Everton will struggle without Moyes, but and it's a big but, if Bale does leave then Spuds could find themselves in a negative spiral, where both Merseyside teams overtake them. Remember it was Bales goals and points that he won them single handedly that propelled them to a dizzy fifth. Without which, they would have finished behind Liverpool.
I saw a report in the news that says Levy is lining up taking Goofy off 'Pool's hands, in the event we sell Bale to Real. Wouldn't that just wipe the smug grin off your face!
so he will move from a team who isnt in the CL, to another team, in the same league who isnt in the CL, who pay less wages? Despite the fact that his main reasons for wanting to move are he wants away from the English Media, a team in the CL and presumably a payrise. No
Hey! Don't shoot the messenger! I'm merely reporting on what I saw in the news. I'm with you on this. These reports are probably about as reliable as all the Bale bollocks that we're being fed.
Apart from him being on record on Uruguayan radio saying that he wants to play CL football, so I don't think there's any danger of him joining the Spuds is there Sandy ?
Didn't you write a leaving letter earlier Sandy? Why are you still here, thought you was the type top jump before being pushed.
He is a great player, but not a team player, very selfish. Be interesting to see if he is the same around the better players Arsenal have. If...
To be fair to him, though, Ozzie, he has been trying to move us to a 4-3-3 formation for most of last season, using our full-backs effectively as wing-backs. It's a system that I can having some good potential for us, moving forward.
He's copying Mourinho's favoured play when he was the tea boy at Chelsea, problem with that is he probably never spent enough time out of the canteen to effect or learn a plan 'B' Still its good he learned something from the master.
