    I don't rate him as a footballer. End of. My opinion. You can think what you want about him, I just don't think he has many abilities as a footballer.

    Bournemouth are a decent side, but I remember when we had high hopes for Andrew. Moved to wrong club perhaps. Anyway, good luck to him.

    If Surman had stayed at Saints, do we reckon he'd be getting first team football now? I think he would probably have fit quite well in front of Cork and Schneiderlin last season. Big shame it didn't work out for him.

    As others have said, I always rated Surman and it's a shame we couldn't have kept held of him as he definitely would have progressed much more as a footballer with us than he has elsewhere, feel very sorry for him since clearly we needed to sell him rather than him pushing his way out. Think Bournemouth will be good for him.

    And I think Caulker is a good signing for Cardiff, and by the going rates these days not a bad price for a newly promoted side getting a young but Premiership-experienced centre-back with decent potential.
