Hey shako, Ben Fry was the head of yorkshire radio, and the bloke who did all the bates pre match interviews. He is also the pitch side matchday presenter, and his awful, whiney voice is amplified around the stadium. Only got the gig because he kissed ken's butt!!!!!!!! He is the last piece of the rotten jigsaw that needs to fcuk off, costing the club a stack of cash running a fake radio station.
Cheers Billy, he was the lad who introduced the half time shot at goal and the mascots etc etc...got you..
What about a morning thread once a week. I think somebody should reintroduce Frisky Fridays!!! Who's gonna put themselves forward to do match threads? Its not long now..... Anyone want to do a poll?
Afternoon all, over 30,000 tickets now sold for Saturday Does anyone know whether the East Stand Upper will be open? Otherwise the crowd will be limited to 31,000 Might be a good idea to open it up for this one
We really need a female to do the frisky fridays though, maybe one of the wall lads might do it, considering they're on here so much...
I don't mind doing matchthreads if ya like but didn't someone already volunteer to do one for Brighton?
They don't always open the upper tier though Shako, that holds an extra 9,000 on top of the 31,000 (or maybe that's all changed now, what with Bates pissing about with his executive boxes and corporate facilities)
Totally with you on that one shak, no point of getting frisky in a sausage fest! please log in to view this image
Seems the lust boys are happy with their meeting with our new owners. Statement due on official site soon. Looks like after many years, we really are all marching on together
They've said within two years, which is what it might take. There's a lot of financial baggage, bates has been weighing us down for years and they need to clear out the mess before they can really crack on with some investing in the team next summer. If we make it this season, great, but I've accepted that bates legacy is likely to haunt us for at least another season. Remember we have a higher turnover than any other club in the Championship by quite a large margin, yet struggle to compete in the transfer market as a result of the unnecessary costs built up by bates. Once those are dealt with, we'll have much more freedom.
Elland Road capacity after the installation of those executive boxes (that we can't fill) is ~37000. Were season tickets in the east upper not available this summer? Was pretty stupid of bates to open the east upper and keep it open just to save face after the redevelopment, must have cost the club a fortune in insurance. That's why it was closed in the first place.
Yeah I put one together for Brighton based on positive feedback from people on the one I did for Brighton at the end of last season I'll stick it up in the morning.
