http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-23506186 We can show compassion to pretty much any living creature, except to fellow humans. The right to die - would you want to have the right to choose for yourself?
If you want to top yourself, and there's a doctor willing to help you do it in the least distressing way possible, I don't see that the government has any right to extend your suffering.
You've hit on the fly in the ointment there. If you were a doctor would you be willing to end someone's life even for all the right reasons? That's the crux of the problem.
I added the words 'for yourself' to the question cos I knew some lame **** would put in a wide boy answer like that in
Stereo isn't a lame **** His, pancreas, kidney, liver, and heart are lame. But he can walk just fine.
You know my take. You live till your 47 then you're euthanised. Gets rid of the old people who take up all space in the supermarket aisles and solves the pension crisis at a stroke
And ****s who walk slowly through airport gateways not aware of the 50 ****s standing behind them who have somewhere to be. Oh, and ****s who stand waiting for the green man at junctions when the road is completely clear of traffic, out of my way ya paceless ****ers.
Plenty of youngsters doing exactly the same thing. And at least the oldies don't spit and swear or threaten to cut your head off.
