I'd have thought with Graham, Sagbo, Boyd, Aluko, Proschwitz and Fryatt all on board, we'd have enough strikers. If we bring another striker in, it'll be because of injury rather than Bruce wanting one. That said, he did say if the right deal came up, we'd be interested. We'll be chasing midfielders now; I'd guess at a wide player and a CM (not that much of a guess on the latter, Bruce has made it clear he wants a defensive minded midfielder). With those two in, I think we'll be just about done, bar any loans/Egyptian players we might want to bring in.
I think we'll only get one more player in and it'll be a central midfielder. We've only actually got room for 2 more in the 25-man squad.
Bruce said on radio he hopes to bring 2 more in. Just been told we're in talks with a midfielder today, may even sign today. No names, just told it might mean it's an alternative to Amalfitano, as that has gone back to a loan option who Marseille are trying to shift. They don't want to loan him out but will do if they can't push through a permanent transfer anywhere.

Edit: just had it confirmed - Jermaine Jenas is up for talks with us today. May even sign by this evening subject to a medical.
I've always liked Jenas, he was cracking at Newcastle and has 21 England caps, so he'll bring the experience we need to a young midfield. Hopefully he'll be this seasons George Boateng. Just the type of player we need; I'll be impressed if we pull this off. Might as well get Amalfitano on loan if he's going, he'd be good cover and Koren isn't going to be able to play every game.
Jenas will obviously improve the squad, just hope we're not going to agree his daft wages(I'm sure we're not). Edit: Just checked and it seems his wages weren't as daft as I thought they were.
Jermaine Jenas would be a great addition. I don't think we'd sign him on ridiculous wages because we seem to be keeping within our wage structure quite well.
The 25 man squad is a farce, if you name 25 players at the start of a season, what then happens to players you may add to your squad in January? Also, players under the age of 21 before the start of the season are exempt from the list - you can play them, but don't need to name them in the 25.
You reregister your squad at the end of January. Players under 21 or 23 (can never remember which one) don't need to be registered.
McGregor Chester----Davies----Figgy Elmo-----------------------Brady Meyler----Jenas----Quinn Graham--Sagbo\Aluko McGregor Rosie--Chester--Davies--Figgy Elmo---Meyler---Jenas---Brady Graham--Sagbo\Aluko I still fancy someone similar to Bridcutt coming in though.
I suspect there will be a story in the paper including how much his wage will be in the paper tomorrow, as the last thing I was told is he was trying to find out how much his wages will be. But it's definitely a free transfer.
Jenas is no longer able to command daft wages. He should consider himself lucky to get a club at the moment. But in saying that, he is quality WHEN FIT. Agreed. Another player who wont hinder the 25 man squad rules we have to comply with in the PL.
